My Self-Summary

Spirituality is most important to me, in myself, my friends, and the women I date. I don't care what flavor of spirituality, but I like people who believe in something beyond what we can see in this physical reality. I personally go to Center for Spiritual Living, a Science of Mind church in Seattle. But I believe we all have our own truths.

I am also a lot of fun. I love to dance, and I try to go every weekend. I like crafts and anything creative. I also spend a lot of time with my friends, playing cards and board games.

What I’m doing with my life

Teaching high school students in a credit-recovery program. My work is meaningful and important to me.

Taking classes to become a licensed Science of Mind Practioner.

Doing volunteer work. I enjoy working to make the world a better place.

Having fun, in a lot of different ways. My life is full and joyous, but I do have room for a partner.

I’m really good at

Being open, caring, and honest. Having fun. Sharing my joy. Getting beyond past hurts, and approaching a new relationship with an open heart.

My calm, peaceful presence, or my uninhibited dancing, depending on the occasion.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I love spiritual books. I also read a lot of murder mysteries. The Princess Bride is probably my all-time favorite movies. I saw Seven Pounds recently, and loved it. I also like Benjimin Button, and of course Slumdog Millionaire. I'm looking forward to seeing Milk and The Soloist. I like unusual movies and independent films. I also like some action movies.

I love a lot of different music. I like positive music, spiritual music, blues, classic rock, and some hop hip. I like Michael Franti and the Blue Scholars. I love going to live shows.

As for food, I really like Indian and Asian. Ethopian, Thai, that kind of thing.

The six things I could never do without

Hot running water, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, clean towels and clothes. I'm thankful to live in a rich county where we take these things for granted.

Beyond the basics, I love my iPod, good books and music, my friends and my family.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

LIfe, spirituality, how to make the world a better place.

On a typical Friday night I am

I am very open and honest. I will tell just about anyone just about anything about myself, if I think there's a reason to.
