Born and raised in NYC, I have an American accent, but sometimes I speak English (I know the difference between they're, their, and there).
Laughter, good food and wine often fill my home. In my experience, life is better when shared with other people.
I take exactly one hour from wake up to out-the-door to get ready. I don't expect you to notice when I cut my hair. I won’t drag you shopping and I don’t gaze enviously into bridal shops or prams. However, I will let you open jars that I "can't" open and change the light bulb that I "can’t" reach.
A shameless foodie (and coffee snob), I love to check out cool new restaurants and bars that I’ve heard about. I won't steal food out of your plate after ordering a salad. In fact, I probably won’t order a salad. Cooking makes me happy also - I make a mean chocolate mousse.
I love to travel so much that I am qualified to give the airplane safety presentation. A great holiday is a combination of the the company I keep and the food that I eat. More interested in accumulating experiences (rather than stuff) and the cultivation of adventure, because no great story ever began, “I decided to stay home...” The perfect valentine’s day includes fresh powder, a big mountain and my snowboard.
A great weekend could include racing sailboats in Southampton, film marathons on the couch, homemade brownies, salsa dancing, afternoon naps in the sun, a trip to the local lido, BBQ in the park, traveling somewhere new - near or far, open air cinema, building a fort from sofa pillows, yoga, taste testing foodie markets, mountain biking, cooking Sunday brunch for friends, and... you?
*I'm traveling for work for the next few weeks, so I might slow in replying.*
