My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Ideally I’m here to meet my 70% match. I know it sounds a little weird but I think that’s enough similarity to build common bonds, but enough variety to keep the relationship interesting. I’m always thinking about unusual things like that; like how I feel a man should pay 2/3 of the time. It’s more than half to show a degree of chivalry, but it respects a woman’s ability to say yes, I can stand on my own two feet.

So if you couldn’t tell already, I’m a numbers kind of guy. There’s this unusual fascination I have with productivity apps, organization and spreadsheets that definitely makes me a little weird, but I wouldn't have it any other way!

As for the type of person I'm looking for. Looks have nothing on someone who’s got their finances in order and goals that they’re working toward. That’s my definition of sexiness.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I’ve got a great job working overnights at General Mills. I get great pay, I work with some pretty awesome people, what more could you ask for?

In addition to my normal job, real estate is a huge passion of mine. I own and manage two rental properties, I own a business which aims to make all information available to homebuyers, and I have a goal to eventually own ten rental units in the next ten years.

And I volunteer. I used to volunteer at SCORE to help small business owners put a business plan together, but I recently shifted to volunteering with the school district as part of their Academy Support Team. I’m also looking for a volunteer opportunity to help community members put together budgets for their families and/or put on financial management workshops. If you know of any opportunities, let me know!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Whether it’s time or money, I’m a self-proclaimed efficiency expert. I can take a little and make for an awesome night on the town. I know how to have fun in the present while also planning for the future…and I do both with elegance.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Depending on the situation, you could notice any number of things. I can be quiet and reserved, but if you get me talking on something I’m passionate about, good luck on getting me to shut up. I’m a health nut, but I love food too much to let it show. And my sense of humor is best described as dry and witty with a healthy dose of social awkwardness.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
My personal library of books is a combination of motivational, investment, humor, and religious.

I love all sorts of movies from the 80’s classics to the cult classics like Donnie Darko and Boondock Saints; and everything in-between…simply way too many to list here.

I typically don’t commit to a TV series unless A) it’s already over and B) everyone claims that it’s a must see. Last series I watched was Breaking Bad. I enjoy watching Comedy Central as well, usually The Daily Show, but I’ve also been getting into Big Bang Theory.

I love Pandora! Lately I’ve been switching between three stations depending on my mood. Jack Johnson/Ben Harper, The Fratellis, or Guardians of the Galaxy.

I love trying new foods…or a new ingredient in a classic dish. I love the concept of Tapas because it allows you the opportunity to try many exotic foods at once.

And I have an awesome retro videogame collection/room at my house. Personally, RPG’s have a special place in my heart. I’ve found that the only thing I’m good for in a FPS is cannon fodder.

I also meet (usually once a month) with friends to play board games. Right now my favorites are Cash Flow, Risk, and Settlers of Catan, but I've been getting into Seven Wonders lately.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) Good friends and family, especially those who understand my unique little quirks
2) Opportunities, not everyone has them so I’m thankful for the opportunities I’ve been given
3) The ability to see the bigger picture, I sacrifice a lot, but I do it with the hope that those closest to me will be better off
4) Making someone else’s day, seriously, if you haven’t helped someone recently, do it, it’s an awesome feeling
5) My past experiences, the good, the bad, all of it made me the person I am today and I am so thankful for that
6) The thirst and passion to do more, always keep myself challenged, growing and waking up each day a better person
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Is the hokey pokey really what it’s all about?

No seriously, I’m usually balancing the tasks I have to do for that particular day with the things I want to do. I really believe life should be serious enough to be productive, but fun enough to be happy. This sense of balance is no doubt a product of my Libra nature, but I stand by it as the ideal mindset to approach life.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hiking a mountain, growing a Grizzly Adams beard and chopping down trees. No, that’s a ridiculous answer.

Realistically working, but that’s because my usual days off are Sunday through Wednesday. Depending on the day, I might be at a networking event, hanging out with friends or family, going to an open house, the gym, or just getting some well needed R&R.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have an absolutely irrational fear of balloons. So yeah, there’s that. I also don’t swear. I’m probably shyer than people think from reading this. I’m sure there’s more, but those are the first things that come to mind.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You love animals, love to try new food, believe in supporting local businesses, you’re financially responsible, have an interest in real estate, love board games, love videogames, you volunteer in the community, enjoy weird conversations, and/or enjoy the occasional bonfire/camping trip.

Really, if you can relate to about half of those, we should talk.
