I enjoy hanging out with my family, movies (especially old ones), comedy, all kinds of music and museums and exploring the Bay Area. I'm not a cutting-edge, Ivy League, petite, professional, sexy, wine-drinking rock-climber. I like to play Scrabble and trivia games. I appreciate the beauty of nature, but I'm not a backpacker or a camper. I exercise, but I'm not athletic. I think Stephen Colbert might be a genius. I'm 5'8" tall, 167. I love being an aunt, but I don't want to be a mother. I'm not ambitious (career-wise) or materialistic. I'm allergic to cats and I don't ride motorcycles (sorry).
It's not for me to say if I'm smart or funny. All I can say is that I'm satisfied with how smart and funny my friends think I am. ;) I'm shy, but as I get to know you and you get to know me, you'll find that I have a lot of love to give and I want to feel loved in return. I pay my own way and stand on my own two feet, but at the end of the day I'd like to know that there's a shoulder to lean on and welcoming arms reaching out to me. I want to be there for my partner in the same way in a sharing, reciprocal relationship. Money can't buy what I'm looking for: a man of integrity who wants to share what's in his heart, his mind and his soul. I believe love is not found, it's made, and that's why I'm seeking a partner who's not afraid to work through problems. It'd be great to find a relationship that brings out the best in both of us.
I am helpful, considerate, and caring. I'm attracted to men who have manners and who know how to communicate. I don't mind at all if a guy has grey hair, is losing his hair or is bald. Hair loss for most men is inevitable and it doesn't bother me.

“Well, good luck to people that are flippant about their relationships and their responsibility towards their fellow human beings, but people like me and Nora, we spend the time and take the effort to understand each other. Then it becomes a life’s work in progress. And for my way of living, that’s how it want it to be. I don’t take commitments lightly. I don’t treat fellow human beings as tools of my trade. So there you go, I’m a loyalist at heart." - On being with his wife for almost 40 years, John Lydon - a.k.a. Johnny Rotten of the Sex Pistols.
