I'm an american....asianamerican. I'm studying abroad in Paris til December. its kinda hard to describe your self on the spot non? I'm really excited to be over here in France meeting people and learning about their culture. i love exploring. i am trying to go to africa after this.....so that will be interesting.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

Right now, i suppose i'm trying to finish up school and hopefully i'll go to gradschool (business) afterwards.
i know that i'm not done traveling.

i've flirted with the idea of becoming a writer......i've flirted with so many other hopeful occupations. all my stories are more or less incomplete. like a strong pulse that fades after a stroke. perhaps i need a muse. i've been known to write about the people i know.....so be warned.

Eating. period. I'm obsessed with food, and not the nasty Mcd's junk (tho for some reason it is highly popular in france as is KFC). I have been told i can cook a mean meal. International food is my forte/background.

i'll try anything once/ exploring/ reading/ cooking/ drawing/ painting/ guitar/photography/drinking coffee...any caffeinated beverage/wiking random stuff/ haggling at open air markets/

I enjoy nature, i really love gardens......in particular the luxembourg gardens and the jardin de plantes.

Books: anything by jane austen, john irving: a prayer for owen meany, Kite Runner, Lovely Bones, Oscar Wilde, Walt Whitman, william Blake. COOK BOOKS.

Movies: i love old and new movies. Roman Holiday, Sabrina, north by northwest, how to catch a thief, conversations with other women, juno, Little Manhattan, Shawshank Redemption, love actually, godfather I et II, kill bill I et II....et all disney movies

Music: ben harper, coldplay, carla bruni, maroon 5, death cab, bob marley, ziggy marley, laura veirs, ingrid michaelson, etc

Food: american, english, french, tex-mex, italian, japanese, vietnamese, korean, indian, moroccan, russian...i am a food connoisseur

Food Items: truffle (desire to truffle hunt while i am here), fois gras (animals were born to be eaten....evil i know), nutmeg, rosemary, BAY LEAVES, carrots, herb shaped like a star used in pho (to which i grew up making....jealous???), bacon, garlic, duck, cilantro, couscous,........yea we all know where this is going

Food People: INA GARTEN! and my mama. and everyone else

Things: open air food markets/ storms/ naps/ films/ french/mex cokes/ etc.......

depends: watching a movie with friends, having a meal w/ them....well cooking for them, or we could be going out...clubbing's never really been a favorite past time but bars with people you actually know are fun
