I'm a very sarcastic person with a very dry but silly sense of
humor. I love to poke fun at the absurdity and ridiculousness
encountered in everyday life. I'm pretty down-to-earth, thoughtful,
and very low-maintenance.
What I’m doing with my life
I am a "process executive" (official designation) at a massive
Indian company who spends most time with mundane tasks related to
expense claims and payroll. Yeah, really interesting...
Typically, though, I'm pretty happy with the autonomy I'm given and
the crazy I'm subjected to continuously (people are really really
silly when their money is in play).
The first things people usually notice about me
I've been told that I come off as pleasant and laid-back. I'm
certainly quite shy, though, so I guess I'd be noted as pretty
quiet. Later on, people note my dry sense of humor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I often watch TV in my spare time. Some shows I enjoy are the Wire,
Daria, Absolute Power, Show, Bobs Burgers, Don Hertzfeldt films,
Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia, House of Cards, Mr. Show,
Breaking Bad, Simpsons, Community, the Walking Dead, Shameless.
Most shows I watch are pretty heavy on irony or absurdity, or are
reasonably good dramas in which I still find substantial
I also enjoy some stand-up comedy, particularly sarcastic comics
like Eugene Mirman, Louis CK, David Cross, etc.
My favorite bands are Alkaline Trio, Streetlight Manifesto,
Pharmacists/Ted Leo, Gaslight Anthem. I typically focus on
individual bands that I can fully get into rather than random songs
from random bands.
I guess I'm pretty adventurous when it comes to food. I love sushi
and Indian food, but really I'll eat anything. I definitely prefer
spicier foods, and I keep bottles of sriracha at home and work that
I use on almost everything.
The six things I could never do without
My sarcastic sense of humor, friends, alcohol, wikipedia, my
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Ethics, philosophy, life, other peoples point of views. I like to
try to understand how the world works, how people think, how I
think, and overall developing my own values and take on how things
I also like to pick up on real-life encounters and envision them in
a sillier or more absurd manner.
On a typical Friday night I am
...not clubbing (neither nightclubs nor baby seals). I'm not too
fond of crowds and don't really understand the appeal.
I typically enjoy hanging out with smaller groups of friends,
relaxing while watching something good (or bad), casually chatting,
and always drinking.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Although I'm pretty easy to get along with, I typically have a
difficult time making initial contact and breaking the ice. Call it
shyness or whatever.

You like this profile, can withstand the joke about baby seals, and
think we might have something in common. I know that the standard
for online dating sites (and human interaction in general) is for
the guy to reach out and creep out to girls persistently until one
finally caves, but it really stands out when a girl is willing to
take that difficult step.
