I want to spend a lazy afternoon in the park, flying a kite with my special Lady. I love the idea of throwing a blanket and picnic basket in the car and going with NO destination in mind. I want to spend a long, quiet Sunday morning in bed, reading to each other our favorite parts of the newspaper. I want to give her a bubble bath and shampoo her hair after a long day at work, with a warm oil massage waiting for after the bath. I want us to stroll on a cloudless, full moon night in the fall as we talk about our dreams, hopes and desires. I want us to find in each other the parts that are missing in our souls, the desire, no, the need to find happiness in the other being happy. A quiet,candle-lit dinner at home with a great movie or yelling at our favorite football teams on TV while we spill the popcorn everywhere are just some of the many things I want to share with my special Lady.

The Lady of my quiet, but nonetheless, deep dreams will be insightful, loyal, witty, warm and loving. Her smile will ripple like a quiet stream. She will speak musically, move lyrically. We will share a compulsion to touch, feel an instinctive sort of familiarity in our touching. I love to read! I need words in a row in some version of English(I am Tri-lingual. I read and almost understand Southern, American, and Queens English! ) before I am able to sleep.

Oh, WOW! How do I list ALL my favorite books? I have different books open to read ( All of them active! ) in every room of the apartment. At any given moment, I may change my mind and book. If I walk in a room with out a book, I expect to have one of the ones that are open in my hands unless I went in there for a reason.

Robert Heinlein - Stranger in a Strange Land. I can't recommend this highly enough. I re-read it at least twice a year. I'm not certain how you got this far in life without reading it. GO NOW! Read it. Others I would recommend would be Glory Road, Friday, Number of the Beast, J.O.B., Oh, the Heck with it! If Heinlein's name is on it, read it.

Spider Robinson - The Callahan's Bar series, The Lady series and The Best of All Possible Worlds. The writer that carries the mantel of Mr. Heinlein. Fun and thoughtful, the Bar and Lady series will expand your horizons in trying to understand your fellow humans. *Warning* Puns and Bad Jokes abound. I still want to live, or least, visit the world in these books.

Christopher Stasheff - The Warlock in Spite of Himself series. A secret agent with an ecliptic robot on a planet with a medieval society that has elves and witches flying on broomsticks. What more do I need to say?

Carole Nelson Douglas - Midnight Louie series and The Irene Adler series. One is a Big Black Cat Private "Dick" who owns a PR Lady expert in Las Vegas that keeps finding bodies. I know that Louie is smarter than me. The other is the ongoing life story of the only Lady(or person) to best Sherlock Holmes. She is living her life to the fullest in a time when so many rules and mores was placed on a ladies actions, even their very thoughts. A Must Read!

If you wonder why you found History boring in school, yet love The History Channel and A&E, then you need to read - LIES my teacher told Me - by James W. Loewen. This will open your eyes to the disgrace of how History is taught in school.
