I am Intelligent, Creative, and Silly.

My Self-Summary

I'm a fun, funny, down-to-earth, rarely boring, open-minded musician/actor.

I like card and board games, rummage/yard sales, the Sunday NY Times crossword puzzle, animals, art, "the theatah", museums, zoos, cooking, trivia, raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens,

I like sweet, tender, soft kisses/snuggles and romance as well as fiery mad passion. I keep my lover happy. Of course, I like mountain sunsets, starry nights, hot tubs, but, damn that sounds so contrived...but, scented candles are awfully nice.

Silly. Smart. Sensitive. Stimulating.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm working as musical director for a very funny sketch comedy show that plays on a weekly basis.

I've lately appeared in some award-winning short films and we're now in the process of producing a full-length film. I'm part of the creative team and will be acting/singing, as well as contributing writing.

And, for you film buffs, I'm listed in IMDb.com

I’m really good at

See above!

I'm good at making people laugh. (I've done stand-up)

I'm good at listening to someone who needs a shoulder to lean on.

I'm a decent cook. My pantry is well-stocked for a straight guy.

I'm great at trivia. You want me on YOUR team when you play trivial pursuit.

The first things people usually notice about me

My blue eyes or my sense of humor.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books-A Confederacy of Dunces, almanacs and reference books

Movies-Casablanca, Fantasia, Planes Trains and Automobles, The Great Dictator, Wizard of Oz, It's a Wonderful Life, It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World, Mel Brooks stuff as well as Coen Brothers and John Waters films.

TV-Simpsons, Seinfeld, Jeopardy, TVLand shows, older films

Music-Classical, Jazz, Show Tunes. I am very tolerant of other people's music (unless it's rap)

Food-Almost anything spicy or hot! Asian, Middle eastern, Mexican. I'm not into most American food (except BBQ). American food tends to be too bland.

The six things I could never do without

My piano keyboard (or music in general)

My dog, Ruby

My creativity

My brain (the one above my shoulders)

My computer

I spend a lot of time thinking about

life, love. And how it effects my world.

On a typical Friday night I am

maybe hanging at home (for now)or out with friends

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I am easily moved by great music, a sad (or happy) movie. Watching "It's a Wonderful Life" always makes me tear up. Music can do the same thing. Wagner, Sondheim, Beatles, Miles. Any style of music can stir my emotions as long as it's well-done.

You should message me if

you want an artsy-fartsy, but down-to-earth playmate/best friend/lover that's way more fun than most of your ex's.
