Don't you think the Buddhists have it right? That this (the universe or reality or whatever you call it) is all illusion? I mean it just doesn't make any sense otherwise. See IF we are all mired in the tar-pits of illusion and there is no real pain or suffering except what we cause ourselves in our blindness and stupidity, then God (or god or gods or whatever your choice word is) is really OK and cool and not a mean son of a bitch at all. More kind of THE cosmic joker with perceived universe/reality as this really big inside joke that we all eventually finally GET and think wow that was funny how could I ever have fallen for that illusion shit cause this is totally ironic and funny. And we're all there together with perfected (because we figured the joke out) individual consciousnesses (is that a word?) singing and laughing and hanging together as part of God in a cosmic universal realization of being the butt of our own joke.
