My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey there! Thanks for clicking through to my profile. Presumably you are intrigued by guys with long blond hair and beards in profile? Maybe we also have a high match percentage. Both these things are promising. Unfortunately, the bit where you get to make an easy intuitive judgement based on a thumbnail and a number is over and NOW YOU MUST READ BORING WORDS. I know, right?

So, the important dating-websitey stuff. This page has has me down in various places as "M", "Bisexual" and "Non-monogamous". These came from dropdowns with limited selection, so I would like to clarify them. So: if you assume I am straight-up cis-male you will be not entirely right but not far wrong either, and it's a simplification I'm okay with; there is way more to find interesting about people than their bodies or gender identities; and I love the concept of relationship anarchy and want to meet more people who want to approach things the same way. If you run towards monogamy, that's cool too, but it obviously limits things a bit :p

Aah, so much meta stuff. Here are some of my interests to balance things out: board games, cooking, whisky, walking, folk metal, cats, museums, wildernesses, tea, speculative fiction, Rube Goldberg machines, open fires.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
The two main ways I spend my time are writing code (for money) and sleeping (not yet monetized). I am also very interested in the Effective Altruism movement and am getting more and more involved in that.

One of the few things I consider valuable enough to be worth owning (I'm a fairly serious minimalist) is a cuddly toy dolphin I've owned since I was so high. Would never consider getting rid of him, don't even care.
