I am intellectual, brutally honest, and stubborn.

My Self-Summary

I'm Jewish. I'm an avid reader. I would rather read than see a movie. I enjoy solitude. I love animals. I love the beauty of nature but don't really want to be a part of it - I'm very attached to modern plumbing. I watch very little television - Heroes and Supernatural being the exception, I never miss them.

What I’m doing with my life

Working on the first in what I hope to be a series of novels (though in what is typical to me, I find myself working on all of them at once).

I’m really good at

Logic, analysis, history, latin, theology, debate, writing (technical and creative), art, cooking.

The first things people usually notice about me

I honestly have no idea. I have never conducted a poll.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

All the works of Classical Philosopy - Anything by Thoreau - The works of Plotinus and Boethius - The Works of Kant - Of course the Tanak, Talmud, Mishna, and Midrish (and the Pirke Abot) - Any of my books by Elaine Pagels about Gnostics in the Ancient World - or my books on Roman Law - or books on Hermeticism in the Alexandrian era - or Victorian architecture - Medieval society and daily life - Any of the Utopian writers such as Moore or in a lighter vein any thing by Gregory Keyes - Judith Tarr - Stephen Donaldson - Jim Butcher - Katherine Kurtz - the Necroscope Books by Brian Lumley - Jullian May - J.K.Rowling - Laurell K. Hamilton (though I fear she is slipped deep into a BDSM induced madness and may soon cease to function as a writer - pity). Ah, but I have run on. Well that happens when you have over 5,000 books and are asked to choose your favorites. Tough work that. Well, Movies - Gone with the Wind and Auntie Mame. Music - Definitely Classical. Foods - Indian and Thai.

The six things I could never do without

I can not do without - Creativity - Books - Functional Plumbing - Means of income so that I could get more books (actually could go without food for books) - Friends (after all, someone has to help me move all these books occasionally) - Animals

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Philosophy, religion, G-d, society, utopianism, social engineering, ethics, creative writing.

On a typical Friday night I am

At home either reading or writing.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Now really, if I were to admit it here it would cease to be private wouldn't it?

You should message me if

Well, the logical answer to that would be if you wanted to communicate with me.
