Looking for a woman who appreciates fun, outdoors, travel, all kinds of food and ethnicities. Bigots need not apply. Higher your IQ, the better. No hobbies, unless you count the one where I go to UIC library or the Regenstein to do research for history articles and a book. Wow! I am sure you would be excited to tag along. Other interests include seeing indie pop/rock acts before they become too big. I saw Sufjan Stevens before he got big. Now his tickets sell faster than Britney Spears loses fans. I still have never been to a Pearl Jam concert. Never could get tickets. I also recently discovered I cannot do Swing dancing. I can do Salsa, but Swing? Something about that herky-jerkey rhythm. So, if you can cross your eyes, wave at people you don't know while driving around town, teach your nephew or niece that winter boots are made for stomping in puddles, and you're willing to "fake it" on the dance floor, send me a message.

I listen to music you typically don't find on WXRT: Menomena, Broken Social Scene, Feist, Sufjan Stevens, ...And You Will Know Us From The Trail of Dead, The Dismemberment Plan (now they are sadly dismembered--obviously their plan worked), TV on the Radio, Radiohead, Deathcab for Cutie (a guilty pleasure), The Veils, and The Marble Index, The Mars Volta, to name some.
