My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a pretty laid back guy. I like spending time with my friends and family, especially at a bar or the beach, but anywhere will do. I like making people laugh, and getting into a good book. I'm pretty good at going with the flow. Which I guess is another way of saying laid back, but these things are hard.

Also, I find that people usually single me out to ask for help or directions, even if I have my headphones on and I am reading. I don't really know what that means, but it's gotta be something, right?

As of right now I have a decent beard that should be pretty gnarly (the good kind) soon enough. So there's that. I plan on updating with a picture soon.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Reading for book club, going to brunch, watching sports/jeopardy, trying to get the most out of it.

Basically trying to figure things out I suppose.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Finding the perfect song on the jukebox, dancing inappropriately, coming up with obscure references
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Freedom and The Corrections, The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, The Great Gatsby, The Catcher in the Rye, A Song of Ice and Fire, 1984, Slaughterhouse Five, The Road. Blood Meridian. Jeez that one. I had an ambitious summer reading list for myself which I am currently on my way to not completing.

Drive, The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, Braveheart, The Departed, Pulp Fiction, The Godfather (Part II is my favorite though), One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, Coen Brothers movies, PT Anderson, Wes Anderson especially The Royal Tenenbaums which is my favorite movie, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Parks and Rec, 30 Rock, classic Simpsons, The Walking Dead, It's Always Sunny, Archer. Broad City and True Detective are amazing. I guess the usual stuff, but sometimes it takes me a minute to actually watch stuff. Still haven't seen OITNB.

David Bowie, Grizzly Bear, The National, Radiohead, The Beatles, The Arcade Fire, Sufjan Stevens, Simon and Garfunkle, Future Islands, Caveman, Beach House. I like loads of music. Lately I've been into poppier stuff from the 80's (think Hall and Oates) but I generally go through phases with this stuff. I just got out of a Velvet Underground kick.

I like all the food.
