My Self-Summary

What about me? I like to think I'm different from most people, but most certainly in a good way. I'm in college, studying Accounting. I'm sure that sounds boring to you, but I don't mind it. I'd eventually like to obtain a Master's and possibly even a Doctorate's, but we'll see how life goes. Besides the fact that I'm choosing Accounting as a career choice, money is of absolutely zero importance to me. If money is in your six things you couldn't live without, I feel very sorry for you. I'm not a materialistic person at all. Don't get me wrong, I like nice things, and if I have some extra money, I'll buy them, but "money"... nah. Venting aside, I play guitar and attempt to play the piano, but no one ever said I had to be good at either of them. I listen to most types of music, the only exclusion probably being that kind where people just scream and have zero instrumental talent, but hey, what ever helps them express themselves, right? I like to laugh and to make others laugh. My sense of humor is unique, however, and sometimes it flies over peoples' heads.

What I’m doing with my life

In college, working at a job that I love half the time but hate all the time.

I’m really good at

Being nice, and being sarcastic. Sometimes they cross paths and that makes me not so nice. I've also begun creating custom iPhone themes. It's fun.

The first things people usually notice about me

My kindness and politeness (I hope). Oh, and I'm usually dressed well.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I like non-fiction books. Mary Roach is a great author, keeping things very interesting and informative by bringing science into her writing. If the books are fiction, I prefer them to be mystery/crime books. I've been patiently waiting the release of Hugh Laurie's second book, Paper Soldiers. His first, The Gun Seller, was hysterical.

I like Action/Drama TV. Lost, House, Rescue Me, L&O: SVU, etc. Family Guy is good stuff, too, as well as Always Sunny. Oh, and I have an odd obsession with The Biggest Loser, that's pretty much the only reality show I enjoy.

I like lots of movies. Comedies, Action, Dramas, even the occasional chick flick. I'll pretty much watch any movie, except maybe Star Wars or other Sci-Fi/Fantasy - not really into that. Although I tend to be biased and never give it much of a chance. Pan's Labyrinth was really good when I finally agreed to watch it.

I like most music, too. With the exception of the aforementioned talentless instrument mashing/vocal screaming genre. Other than that, I have a wide variety of artists in the music library.

Food is good. I like to eat. Seafood scares me, so I avoid that. I do have a chicken caesar salad obsession. I could have one everyday, and usuaully, I do.

The six things I could never do without

Do food, oxygen, and water count?

1) Technology, because it baffles me
2) Good Food
3) Good Friends
4) Nice Clothes (although being naked isn't too bad)
5) Music
6) and of course, Love.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Life in general. My future. My past (although I know I shouldn't dwell on it). Other people. I think a lot. Keeps me up at night. Insomnia.

On a typical Friday night I am

Not doing a whole lot. Maybe dinner and a movie with friends, a few drinks, or what have you.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I don't really have anything that's private. Ask, and I'll most likely tell you.

You should message me if

You want to. You're bored. I made you laugh. I didn't make you laugh. You saw me on TV, which I'm unaware of, because I would like to know where my royalty checks are.
