Hmmm. Well, I am 30 years old. I am 5'8" and plus sized. I am a fairly laid back person... a tee shirt and jeans gal. I love exploring and being spontaneous but also get a kick out of relaxing and watching a movie.

I enjoy cooking and baking although I am still learning. I love to find new places to eat and also really like trying new cuisines.

I like to explore the city and as of recently have been making an effort to get there more often. I like going to Film Forum, walking around, going to museums, and window shopping.

I am currently a 2nd grade teacher. I feel very lucky to have a job that I enjoy and that pays the bills.

Seeing both sides of most situations

Books: Anything that I can't put down, usually non-fiction

Movies: It's a Wonderful Life, Psycho, Notorious (Basically anything and all Hitchcock) Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Amelie, The Neverending Story, Inherit the Wind, Taxi Driver, and Singing in the Rain.

Television: Dexter, Louie, Jon Stewart, Little Britain, Shameless

Music: I like a lot of different music... my playlists are constantly in flux... an old favorite is Simon and Garfunkel,

Foods: My favorite food is pizza. I know, how boring is that? I just recently fell in love with Indian cuisine. I also enjoy sushi. Eating anything with chopsticks is fine by me.

Besides the obvious--

travelling, snow, music, small adventures, a quiet space, the internet

I spend my time wondering how I can stay awake long enough to get through one sitting of Citizen Kane. Sheesh.

I am usually at happy hour with my co-workers, hanging out with friends, spending time with family, or just catching up on my DVR recordings.

I really enjoy watching CBS Sunday Morning curled up with a warm cup of coffee.
