My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Note: In case you're reading this from quickmatch, my username is iamstickfigure. I don't understand why they don't show the usernames there, so it just occured to me to just say it here in the self-summary.

I heard about this site on the YoGPoD, and I wanted to check it out. In short, I'm a nerd with a crude sense of humor.

I am Levi. I'm a huge fan of stand-up comedy, horror movies, games, and YouTube.

I am a programmer by hobby. I started coding back in 7th grade, and I've been an avid programmer ever since, making all sorts of random stuff (basically whatever seems interesting to me).
I've competed in several of my school's programming competitions as well. XD

I got in to chess about a year back, and although I'm surely not a fast-paced player, I love a good game of chess now and then. Also, I was recently introduced to Go (Baduk), but I'm pretty bad at it currently. Perhaps I'll improve. My KGS username is iamstickfigure.

I'm a fan of Minecraft. As far as other games go, I have to stick with the PC since I don't have any consoles. I'm absolutely horrible at RTS and RPG games, so I tend to avoid them like the plague.
But really, to be honest, lately I haven't played video games very much at all. I do enjoy playing games, but I like to watch people play games more than actually play them.

I am in a polyamorous relationship at the moment (With emberobin and nocturnal_raptur), so I'm still available to anyone both romantically and sexually. If you have questions about this, just message me. I will respond.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Studying Computer Science in college, and from time to time, I freelance with various computer/tablet related odd jobs.

Between/after classes, I usually hang out at UH's LGBT resource center where I've met the large majority of my friends.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Coding in Java, C++, or really any other language if I have a API documentation on hand.

I'm not sure if I'm answering this section properly. XD
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My beard I guess. Depending on the state of things, my beard is sometimes trimmed like in my profile picture, or it's huge and bushy.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Music: The Beatles, DAT Politics, Skrillex, The Morning Benders, Balkan Beat Box, Quintron and Miss Pussycat, (Pretty much everything except country music)...
[Edit]: Actually, it turns out that it's only nashville country music that I can't stand. It's just that nashville is more common.
I used to get a lot of my music from a recently shut-down radio station KTRU 91.7, the Rice University radio station. I enjoyed the eclectic nature of their programming. In fact, I even attended the protest rallies to help the station stay afloat, but it was unsuccessful. What a shame. :-(

Books: A Clockwork Orange, The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, Frankenstein: The Modern Prometheus, A Brief History of Time, Eugene Mirman's A Will to Whatevs, The World of Karl Pilkington, ... (I love the insane ramblings of Karl Pilkington. XD)

Movies: Watchmen, The Thing, The Fourth Kind, Orphan, Kick-Ass, Super, Pandorum, Scott Pilgrim vs The World, Catacombs, I Spit on your Grave, Leprechaun, Paranormal Activity, The Last Exorcism, Seed, Dawn of the Dead, Shaun of the Dead, Zombieland, A Serbian Film (Huge horror fan)...
I also love weird, badly made, or campy movies. I get a real kick out of stuff like that. I think Troll 2 is FANTASTIC! Lol.

Shows: Doctor Who, A lot of Comedy Central programs, South Park, Archer, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Ugly Americans, The Ricky Gervais Show, The YoGPoD, some Science Channel/Discovery Channel programs (Especially documentaries), Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman, (I'm also a huge fan of stand-up comedy)...

YouTube: Yogscast (BlueXephos), CaptainSparklez, SSoHPKC, SethBling, Numberphile, SixtySymbols, PsychicPebbles, OneyNG
(I have quite a few subscriptions)...

Games: Minecraft, Portal, Portal 2, Worms Revolution (Message me if you have this game too!), League of Legends (Not anymore because I'm terrible at it), Toribash, Sumotori Dreams, Happy Wheels, Grand Theft Auto series, CLOP, Cobalt, Half-life series, Garry's mod, Antichamber, Perspective (Mainly PC Games)...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My Laptop,
YouTube,
My Friends,
Horror Movies,
The Internet,
Math/Physics,
Exaggerated essentials of life that "I could never do without," but obviously could do without.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
It's interesting how "lol" seems to have evolved away from meaning that something is necessarily funny. It's often used to express empathy, but I usually use it to convey tone.

Also, I love to discuss grand-scale hypothetical scenarios. Lol. I've come up with some lovely thought experiments while doing this.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Just do it. Lol. I often find myself unsure what to message people sometimes because so many people abhor messages like "Hey, what's up?" so I never know what to say to someone. I guess I'm just bad at messaging people. XD.
But yeah, I won't be picky about what you say. Lol. Just send what's on your mind or just say "Hey."

Or if you are just interested to know more about me. If there's something I didn't cover, ask away. I will not ignore your message regardless of what it is.
