My self-summary
INTJ if that's something that interests you.

If I could travel through time, I would go back to the 1930's and bum around on Pilar with Hemingway.

Cocktail/beer/wine nerd. It's a large part of my life for work and play--if you don't drink we may not get along.

Transhumanism is really interesting to me--I've wanted to be a cyborg since I was small.

I like brown liquor and growing beards. I work a lot, at least 60 hours a week on average.
What I’m doing with my life
Slowly leveling up in the restaurant industry. I fell into it after college when I couldn't get hired in archaeology, and I really enjoy it. My goal is to have the experience and the capital to successfully open my own place in ten years.

Right now I really love the herb garden that my roommate and I have going on on our back porch--there is nothing better than fresh basil. My next project is getting back into making infusions, and spending time learning to brew in earnest.
I’m really good at
I really love to cook, and I think I'm pretty good at it. My days off are generally spent procuring delicious ingredients at the farmers' market and then spending the rest of the day playing with them in the kitchen. I also make a mean cocktail.
The first things people usually notice about me
Big, chunky, black framed glasses, because I am blind as a bat.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Pages:
I own a shit ton of science fiction. Seriously, I used to / still do have a problem when I go into brick-and-mortar bookstores. I have to leave my wallet in the car. Recently I've been reading books about beer and wine, both for work and pleasure.

Tube:
I can probably sit down and rewatch Firefly at any point in time. Sherlock is good. Things I need to watch/finish watching: Buffy, Dr. Who, Battlestar Galactica, et alia. Justified is pretty much the bee's knees.

Tunes:
Guitar driven Americana, stoner metal, Hall & Oates, trip hop, some rap.
Country's good if you're turning off your brain. I still don't understand dubstep. A banjo or harmonica on a track pretty much guarantees that I'll at least listen to it twice. I've been listening to a bunch of psychobilly lately. Mark Fucking Knopfler.

Vittles:
Spicy stuff. Meat. Offal. Vegetables. Beer (yes, beer is a food).
The six things I could never do without
National Public Radio (Have to stay connected to the world at large)
Whiskey (Truly one of humanity's great accomplishments)
Cooking (I will feed you, and well)
Music (Makes the world go 'round and the days go by)
Books (I have an addiction to the printed word)
My dog, Whiskey Rose. She's an affable little affection whore.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Making and consuming cocktails; concepts for the restaurant I will open in the future; why my dog pees everywhere when she gets excited.

Why so many of my high-percentage matches have recently returned from the Peace Corps.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I rock a mean Canadian Tuxedo.

You have a partisan stance on the Oxford comma (Hint: Oxford commas are awesome).
You like fancy cocktails and beer, and would like to consume said beverages with me.
You can teach me a skill--I'm all about learning new stuff.
