My self-summary
Hey, I'm Ian. Not quite sure how to summarize myself without coming across as cliche. That being said, I'm a creative-minded and easy-going person. I don't take life too seriously but am very invested in my interests (see below). Finally decided to finish up school and get my BFA after traveling and spending a lot of time writing music. Since 2008 I've lived in Connecticut, Tennessee, Boca Raton, and San Francisco (which I love almost as much as New York).
What I’m doing with my life
I have recently become a screenwriter. I have been hired to write a script that is based on the civil war that is going on in the Congo (think the movie Blood Diamond but with a mineral called Coltan that is fueling the conflict in question) which I have just a month ago competed. So that is very exciting. I have also recently started performing stand-up comedy (something that I put off for years because I was afraid of going on-stage and bombing, luckily, I have been doing well and have yet to do too bad). I am also finishing up my final year of school as a fine arts major. In addition, once I have the time, I am looking to finish up my first novel that I have been working on for the past two years and hope to have it published. I am also a musician and have started a musical duo with a friend of mine who provides amazing female vocals. Also, all that being said, I'm really the silliest guy ever, but for some reason I feel the need to type well. I sure hope you enjoy puns!
I’m really good at
Writing, Making people laugh, Guitar, Songwriting, Art, Having a good time, and Keeping an interesting conversation going.

Rap battles. I once served up season 1 Project Runway winner in a rap battle at a house party (he left the party disgruntled soon thereafter).
The first things people usually notice about me
People often tell me that I give off good vibes. I think you'd notice my friendliness, sense of humor, intelligence, and creativity. I'm just a really open-minded guy that has been through and experienced many things and cultures in life that have made me a more humble, open-minded individual. Also, I'm way less serious (and way more laid-back) than I might seem by my looks.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everyday life is just funny to me. So I am constantly seeing the world as material for stand-up comedy. Also, I often wonder why it seems so hard for some people to be polite. A "please" and "thank you" can go a long way!
On a typical Friday night I am
Drinking and having a good time with friends, performing stand-up comedy, jamming out and making music, watching movies, or a combination of the above!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I think I'm developing an unhealthy obsession with Ryan Gosling.
