I still have not figured out what I want to do when I grow up.

I have earned money as a furniture mover, fast food cook, computer programmer, electronics assembler, bodywork therapist, hypnotherapist, teacher, candle maker, business analyst, repairman (everything from backhoes to hospital beds), . . . I have probably forgotten some.
I have taught aikido (a martial art based on the idea that you can defend yourself without hurting your attacker), shiatsu (a type of massage based on the theory of acupuncture), candle making, qi gong, meditation, stress management, database design, computer programming, and computer repair.
My hobbies have included, martial arts, square dancing, backpacking, sailing, canoeing, skiing, swimming, rock climbing, survival camping, bicycling, yoga, belly dancing, square dancing, knitting, macrame, carpentry, quilling (the art of coiling paper), photography, acting, theatre lighting design, archery, cooking, gardening, . . .
I have traveled extensively around the northern hemisphere, for both business and pleasure, but have never crossed the equator.
I like animals. I have shared living quarters with dogs, cats, birds, and fish. I have been friends with many domestic animals including: guinea pigs, gerbils, rats, mice, snakes, spiders, and a flying squirrel that my aunt raised.
