I am a follower of Jesus Christ and a father to two wonderful teenage children. My desire is to become the man God wants me to be. Professionally, I am software development manager and a perpetual learner--especially about software engineering, leadership, management, quality, and human relationships. I have been a runner for the past 15 years and I am serious about self-improvement.

I am seeking a friendship that will evolve into a romantic relationship. I think the best long-term relationships are built on friendships.

Right now I am working a tremendous number of hours each week. I am also planning the next phase of my life and working on my bucket-list. Currently, I am refreshing my knowledge of Chinese and studying for the written exam for a private pilot's license.

I am a voracious reader. I do not generally read fiction though. I read a lot of technical books and textbooks, biographies, books on leadership and human relations, management, and many subjects except sports.

I prefer foreign movies. I like classical music, new age music, indie-rock, classic rock, and some pop--but absolutely no hip-hop, rap, or R&B. I like jazz in very small quantities.

My favorite foods are Korean and Japanese. I like seafood a lot, and enjoy most foods except for American food or anything heavy, brown, and fried.

What I did wrong and how I could do it better next time.

Having dinner with a friend, drinking a glass of wine and generally relaxing.

You are intelligent, have a good sense of humor, live a balanced life, are well-read, like to travel, enjoy drinking coffee and wine, exercise regularly and are not overweight (that is a sign of lack of self-discipline or a deeper emotional issue, rarely is it just a medical condition), you enjoy learning, and love God. (That's a lot of conditions, but let's not waste each other's time.)
