I am random, tired, and out of adjectives.

My Self-Summary

Moved to Seattle in May for a job from Florida. I am a big fan of Seattle so far (even the rain).

I am a pretty laid back person. I am committed to my job but not obsessed. I play video games (badly). I write some software in my spare time. I write software pro-bono for a YMCA program. I go to shows. I have parallel sentence structure.

I am also a left-handed Republican, but don't let that scare you.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm a software engineer for one of the large companies in Seattle. I am a little bit of a nerd and usually enjoy my job.

I’m really good at

Writing software! And other stuff.

The first things people usually notice about me

My answer to this question.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I don't read a whole lot, but when I do it is usually David Sedaris or some technical reading.

Movies: Rules of Attraction, Atonement, 1984 (I know it is a book too), Dogma, 28 Days Later.

As far as music: Ben Folds, Fischerspooner, The Sounds, Sneaker Pimps, Spring Awakening, Motion City Soundtrack, Clint Mansell, Dixie Chicks, Alanis Morissette, and the list goes on.

Food: Indian and Thai food usually top my list.

The six things I could never do without

The internet, caffeine, and some other stuff (4 other stuffs in particular).

I spend a lot of time thinking about

You, silly.

On a typical Friday night I am

At home, playing video games or something. Or at a show if I am so lucky.

You should message me if

You want to talk. I like talking to fairly intelligent people who have something to say (imagine that!). Communication on the internet is a lot different than communication in person, so I generally prefer to meet sooner than later. Don't read too much into it :)
