My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Tall, dark, hairy, but not normally as hairy as in the first photo.

SPOILER ALERT: if you've answered 'yes' to the 'same race' question I not only don't want to know you, but also want you to go rot in a cave. xo

Massively geeky CompSci/SoftEng graduate (no, I will not fix your computer).

I think I might be bad at this site; I don't seem to be great with the black/white either/or questions, and have a violently allergic reaction to Barnum statements. (

My username is the same everywhere, so feel free to stalk me on other sites too. thisismyjam is good to hear my current internal soundtrack, for example.

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
This is an awfully deep question. I'm a software developer.

The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I think humans normally notice hair first, but a quick google isn't turning up any citations that aren't just fluff for haircare products. Other than that, probably my height?

Socially it's probably that I make hyper-sarcastic/sardonic remarks (in fact, I just found a facebook comment confirming that this was someone's first memory of me!), but hopefully not overbearingly?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Aw geez, this might take a while. One at a time: Iain M Banks' Culture novels, Dark City, Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle, Radiohead (all eras), possibly sashimi? I hadn't tried it much till recently but had a great meal at Yes Sushi in Edinburgh.

Oh, I should mention Deftones. I still haven't gotten bored of any of their albums.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

* Bananas

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
metaphysics, philosophy, gender, evolution, the origins of sapience, &etc;
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm bitterly disappointed when people's most private thing isn't filthily sexual.
