working on expanding my musical endeavors and doing student things. spontaneously purchased a trombone a few weeks ago, have not played or touched one since fifth grade. so thats a thing.

eating and enjoying baked goods.
shopping.
roadtrips.
blathering about obscure music, comics, art compositions and cocktails.
staying up too late.

facial expressions.

books- lord of the flies, franny and zoey, virgin suicides, aubrey/ maturin series, mrs. dalloway, the fall, jane eyre, orlando, the violent bear it away, death of a salesman, for esme with love and squalor, black elk speaks, the universe and the teacup, the joy of liberace, paper spirits, different dances, long halloween, nausea, an enemy of the public. i love stories, and especially good ones.im a fan of history, art, and architecture books. wikipeidia junkie.

movies- kurosawa, nolan, burton, gilliam, kaufman is it weird and unsettling? double points for cartoons!

shows- i do love me some dr. katz, home movies, metalacolypse, venture bros, spiderman, powerpuff girls, big-o, cowboy bebop, aeon flux and clone high. recently, ive acquired a taste for 30 rock, parks and recreation, louie, and two broke girls. im crying because season five of mad men has finished.

music- i play music, and my limitations have encouraged my expanding taste in genres. i don't like the sound of everything, and i am rather particular about what i like -- slow, sad songs; music that doesnt make sense; gamelan, tinkles and ginkles; horns.

food- yes please. i can find myself talking about another meal while eating. i like flavors, i like experimenting, i like meat, i like veggies, i like sauces. sushi is possibly my favorite food, but i also love a greasy cheese burger from sport burger! i really enjoy a candle lit dinner at an expense restaurant and no reason in particular to celebrate, but wont think i'm above some quicktrip taquitos.

air conditioning- seriously, i live in kansas! we have way hot summers and way cold winters. if i could not hide myself away from typical off-the-wall weather we have here, i would cease to be.

friends- i like my down time, but it also makes me a little crazy. i need other people in my life to keep me in check with reality. also, i just like having my circles of friends and bouncing ideas and jokes and music and good times off one another.

a guitar- need it. and probably more than just one. ive been playing for some years now, and to go too long without playing feels off, like im becoming less of myself. i dont often play woo-ing chord progressions.

headphones (something to plug them into would be cool too)

roller ball pens- note taking and doodling. sometimes i write haiku in the margins.

chairs- just consider going the rest of your life without sitting. pretty terrible.

setting up music equipment.
superheroes.
the space between my ears.
sauces.
free time i dont have to play castlevania anymore (tear).
obvious dude thoughts i suppose.

working, and then noodling around with a guitar or in a sketchbook.

im not ambidextrous. yet.
i hate the shift key, i type in all lower case. to make up for this and to practice letter form, i write in all capitals.

any reason, im here for fun... the idea is to meet people right?
