My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Well I’m Steven and I guess first and foremost I’m a political science major and history minor. I really love my field but I don’t take myself or much of life very serious at all outside of it. I really pride myself on a strong work ethic and maintaining my 4.0 through school is important to me. I've traveled all over the world and I get wanderlust horribly bad a lot of the time. I have a beautiful German Shepherd named Ava who I love very much, she’s basically my best friend and I probably spend more on her than I do on myself. I’ve never drank, smoked, or done any drugs but I won’t judge anyone who does, it’s your life and I’m nobody to say otherwise. I spent four years in the Army as an infantryman, a year of that being in Iraq. I really enjoyed a lot of my time in but I felt that it was just time to move on with my life and get into school. I’m also a massive geek and have a pretty serious Star Wars obsession. Board games are my shitttt. I love video games and reading just as much as I love being outdoors and hiking or just going on adventures. I’m an avid road-tripper and have spent some of the best times of my life doing that with my friends. Food is a huge staple in my life, I love trying new things out and expanding my palate, I guess you’d call me a foodie lol. I loveeeee great conversation and healthy debate, I feel that it helps open your mind to new ideas as long as you’re receptive of them. I’m told pretty often that my sense of humor, personality, and overall luck in totally random, awkward situations is reminiscent of Louis C.K. Hugeeee history buff with the Revolutionary period and WWII being my top favorite eras. I love tattoos and the history and art behind them but please don’t ask me what mine mean, because a lot of them are simply art and I don’t believe every tattoo has to mean something deeply personal to someone.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Just trying to wade through the menial tasks of day to day life while keeping my sanity. Also school and work.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Knowing the most random trivial knowledge ever
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
In long sleeves and pants: the red hair
In short sleeves: the tattoos

Books: I really enjoy dystopian, sci-fi, and fantasy novels. Blood Meridian and The Road by Cormac McCarthy, Friedrich Nietzsche, The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli, Chuck Palaniuk (my favorite being Haunted),The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, any book on Star Wars or Halo.

Movies: All things Wes Anderson and J.J. Abrams, Star Wars, The Big Lebowski, Harry Potter, The Avengers (any Marvel movie, really) Lord of the Rings, Back to the Future, Indiana Jones (Before that god awful Kingdom of the Crystal Skull), Gangs of New York.

TV: Sherlock, Adventure Time, Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, Aqua Teen, Ancient Aliens, True Detective, Workaholics, Homeland, Eastbound and Down, New Girl, An Idiot Abroad, Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The League, Community, Kroll Show, Breaking Bad, Archer, The Big Bang Theory, so many more.

Food: Literally everything, however, Indian and Thai are among my favorites.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Pizza
Friends
My Xbox
My iPhone
Intellectual stimulation
Burritos
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The idiosyncrasies of power politics, Star Wars Episode VII, if school will ever end, what kind of technology will be around in 50 years.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Probably sitting at a friend's house playing video games, Risk, or Settlers of Catan.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I was on Slime Time Live once and I won Spider Man on Playstation. Not really private, just awesome.
