My Self-Summary
So first I must explain why the strange name for my okcupid
account. Apparently, I made a profile years ago, forgot about it,
and found it when a friend of mine wanted to show me someone she
had met on here. I was still logged in too, how crazy is
that?
I am a unique person. I'm not your typical female. I don't go to
clubs, bars, drink, smoke, or anything of that sort. Some would say
in that respect I am boring, but it is who I am. God is the only
one who I must answer to so I live my life according to that.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm graduating LSU this spring, and I plan on heading to graduate
school for biochemistry in the fall.
Currently my life consists of too many classes (most of the are for
fun - Attic Greek, jewelry making, etc... some not so much -
physical biochemistry, women and gender studies, etc...), clubs and
organizations (service and educational), graduate school
interviews, strengthening my relationship with God, and sleep when
I have the time.
I’m really good at
I am really good at being creative. I enjoy making things, mainly
on a minute scale. I am very organized. I don't think I could
manage my life if I wasn't.
I love learning languages. Although, I'm not fluent in any one, I
find them interesting in how translations can change the meanings
of things so easily. Currently I'm taking Greek so I can read the
New Testament in the original text.
The first things people usually notice about me
Physically - my blue eyes
Mentally/verbally - my really geeky sense of humor
My favorite joke/pun is...
Did you hear about the famous microbiologist, who traveled to many
different countries and spoke many different languages?
...He was a man of many cultures!
ah ha ha, I love that one!
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Favorite books:
The Bible
Jane Eyre
Pride and Prejudice
Animal Farm
The six things I could never do without
1. God
2. Family
3. Friends
4. Caffeine
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My future, God's plans for me, social interactions, what's next on
my to-do list, etc...
On a typical Friday night I am
There are a few different possibilities for me. I am either feeding
squirrels in the quad, trying to catch the perfect shot (picture
not gun) of those cute little creatures, in the lab, working on
school work, sleep or on a rare occasion with friends.
