My self-summary
I try to be a nice and genuine person. I hold the door for strangers. I donate blood with the red cross, and I'm nice to waiters. I have a cool scar, but I don't have a tan. I like playing board games (small world, catan). I remember things you tell me. I enjoy trivia. I'm politically and religiously apathetic, but very passionate about my personal relationships and my education/future. I eat meat. I'm great with little kids, I don't know how or why. I'm intelligent, skeptical, witty, laid-back, and honest. I try not to sweat the small stuff and it doesn't usually bother me if someone thinks differently than I do.

I am pretty geeky, but does that mean I don't want to talk to anyone who isn't a geek as well? Of course not! As a side note, my geekiness doesn't interfere with my day to day life; I well adapted to acting normal.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently about to graduate from UCSD with a BS in Mathematics. Some day I will be a teacher, or perhaps seek employment elsewhere in the wide world of the world. Until then I can content myself by stuffing my brain with sweet, delicious learning. Om nom nom.
I’m really good at
I'm far too modest too put much in this section. Far, far too modest... I have more of a thinky science brain than a rainbow artsy brain, although I see the value in each brain having style. I'm good with words and with coming up with a witty comment or quick reference in conversation.
I'm also quite skilled at interpreting the original message through autocorrected or misspelled/garbled texts.
The first things people usually notice about me
I can't speak for other people, but what I usually notice about me is that I smile with my eyes a lot. My mouth doesn't usually cooperate (at least it in my opinion).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite books are usually fantasy: A Song of Ice and Fire and Harry Potter are some of my all time favorites. I also really enjoyed His Dark Materials by Phillip Pullman.
As for movies, I like all kinds, but I'm more inclined to like a movie that was made to be a good movie rather than made to make money in the box office (if that makes sense).
My favorite shows are comedies. Adventure Time is my favorite show of all time! It's just so math.
I enjoy most types of electronic and rock music, and classical music as well. Electronic versions of classical pieces featuring electric guitars are a bonus.

Most of the time I'm eating meat. I have no quarrel with vegetarians or vegans and I hope they extend the same measure of tolerance to me. That being said, animals are delicious and steak is one of my favorite meals.
The six things I could never do without
I would be lost without Wolframalpha.com. Wolfram is my rock. Unfortunately these days my studies in mathematics is less computational and more theoretical so I can't rely on the wolf so heavily, but that's probably a good thing.

I need at least three pillows to sleep. Five if I want to sleep comfortably. I don't even use them all every night, it's just comforting to know they're there.

I can't live without water. Not in a cliché, technically true way, but in that I drink lots of water every day. It has to be cold and filtered or else it grosses me out!

I can't really think of anything else to put here that is interesting, and I'd rather not list obvious things such as food and shelter. Rereading this section gives me pause because it sort of makes me seem like some kind of grandpa. I assure you, I am most assuredly a young man, just with an old soul :)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
It's hard to say what I spend my time thinking about. A lot of the time my mind feels like a beehive and I'm thinking about everything, especially bees. Other times I am very focused on my studies. I think that my best answer to this question is to say I spend a lot of time thinking about what other people are thinking. Hopefully I don't ever find anyone else who does this or we might start a feedback loop in each other's brains and break something.
On a typical Friday night I am
Realizing that it's actually Sunday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
The song "Crazy" by Gnarles Barkley has a special, emotional meaning to me.
