I am caring, thoughtful, and fun-loving.
My Self-Summary
Ok, I'm 23, currently working and living in Liverpool but am
originally from Barnsley. I work in the TV industry. I really enjoy
music, it's probably
the best aspect of life. I play
guitar and love to
sing, but am better at the latter than the
former. Was going to say I love
gigs but haven't been to many recently.
Will try and remedy that. Although I love alot of different kinds
of music, I'm obsessed with
The Beatles. Read into that what you
will.
I must admit I prefer to spend time with friends in
pubs or at home than out on
the town, I really can't be doing with clubs all that much, you
can't really have a conversation, and in that case what's the
point? Also love to go to the
cinema (
Movies are the second best aspect of
life) and having
poker nights (Gambling is the third...
nah, just kidding!)
I love a laugh. If you can make me laugh we'll be best mates. I
also like to think I have a good sense of humour, but I guess that
all depends on who you ask. Here's one of my favourite jokes ever,
see if it makes you titter.
Bob: Did you hear about the actress who was stabbed?
Dave: No, who's that?
Bob: Can't remember the name. Rhys Wither...
Dave: What, Witherspoon?
Bob: No, with a knife!
Boom boom.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently working in the TV industry as a runner, at the bottom
of a long ladder I'd like to reach the top of. I don't know many
people in Liverpool and have found that the place where I work can
be quite secular so I'd like to branch out a wee bit. I don't
currently plan to stay in Liverpool forever, but you never know...
I’m really good at
Singing, even if I
do say so myself. I'm also not bad at the
guitar. And I'm brilliant at word
searches! But why do you care?
The first things people usually notice about me
I'd like to say my sense of humour, but being comfortable enough
with a person to let it out can sometimes take time. So I'll say my
height. I'm 6 ft 4.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books - Revolution In The Head, The Curious Incident Of The Dog In
The Night Time, Of Mice And Men (yeah, we did it in school, what of
it?)
Movies - Far too many to mention. Walk The Line, No Country For Old
Men, The Star Wars Trilogy, Blazing Saddles, Dirty Harry, Pulp
Fiction, Trainspotting, Carlitos Way, The Untouchables, Goodfellas,
The Godfather, There Will Be Blood, Muppet Treasure Island
(seriously), Gladiator, Ghostbusters... I obviously watch more
movies than read books...
Music - The Beatles and other great sixties bands (the Rolling
Stones, The Beach Boys, The Who etc). Also The Hold Steady, Oasis,
Fleet Foxes, Elbow, Kasabian, Belle And Sebastien, The Broken
Family Band, The Shins, Rilo Kiley, Pulp, Arctic Monkeys, Johnny
Cash, Motown, Bowie, Franz Fedinand, The Smiths....
Food - Chinese is ace, also like Italian. Not that bothered about
spicy stuff but wouldn't say no.
The six things I could never do without
Friends, ipod, guitar, car, dvd collection, pink jelly babies
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why every girl I get on well with has a boyfriend
On a typical Friday night I am
In a quiet bar or pub with good friends
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I work on a television soap, and am absolutely besotted with one of
the female stars. Which one and what soap I can't say here.
You should message me if
you enjoy sticking pins in your eyes. Ha ha, just some of the
trademark wit you can expect
