I am nerdy, inquisitive, and caring.

My Self-Summary

My name's Tim. I live in Hampton, VA. I come off as quirky and spontaneous, but I'm a nerdy homebody. I'm sociable, but not necessarily social. I'm good with computers - Photoshop, video editing, sound editing, recording, etc etc. I enjoy philosophy, psycho-analysis, and knowledge. I also enjoy driving quite a bit. I'm originally from the East Bay Area, CA, but I've had most of my meaningful "life progressions" here in VA.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm working on finding myself, working full-time, enjoying my time here, maturing, finding happiness, learning about success, getting Microsoft certified.

I’m really good at

computers, the internet, philosophical conversation, video games, caring

The first things people usually notice about me

is physical appearance, but shortly after, my sincerity and open-mindedness.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Movies:
Romeo + Juliet, Natural Born Killers, Stardust, The Beach, Falling Down, Stranger Than Fiction, Donnie Darko, Fight Club, anything by Trey Parker & Matt Stone (Orgazmo and Cannibal: The Musical especially), anything by Gregg Araki (Nowhere, Mysterious Skin), pretty much any cult classics - I like movies... so if it's good, chances are I'll like it

Movies I find important:
Zeitgeist, Religulous, TerrorStorm, America: Freedom to Fascism, Mickey Mouse Monopoly

TV Shows:
Californication, Family Guy, MythBusters, Ghost Hunters, Destination Truth, House, King of the Hill, The Simpsons, Futurama, South Park, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Moral Orel, 12 oz. Mouse, That '70s Show, Robot Chicken, Law & Order: SVU, The X-Files, Roseanne, any UFO/creature specials, just about anything interesting on TLC/Discovery (and similar channels)

Music:
Nine Inch Nails, Sublime, Tool, The Crystal Method, Kimya Dawson, mc chris, The Beatles (the drug era), Asian Dub Foundation, Leftöver Crack... generally speaking, I listen to punk, ska, dub, progressive, indie, industrial, anti-folk, grunge, metal, and hip hop ...but like my taste in movies, if it's good, I'll listen to it, regardless of the genre

Video Games:
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, the Call of Duty series

Books:
A Clockwork Orange, The Catcher in the Rye, The Hobbit, All Quiet on the Western Front

Food:
pizza, cheeseburgers - pretty much anything American, Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Japanese, spicy, or anything that you think I should try

The six things I could never do without

water, food, family, friends, computers, and music

I spend a lot of time thinking about

philosophy, psychology, computers, life, death, the stars/universe, aliens/UFOs, the paranormal, and myself (reflection, etc).

On a typical Friday night I am

at work. After, maybe with a few close friends discussing philosophy, life, human behavior, society, and/or politics.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm pretty much an "open book" ...if you really want to know something, just ask.

You should message me if

you think we can get along AND you are NOT racist, homophobic, or overly religious.
