Hi. I am Andrew. I have read quite a few of these profiles. Most of them say stuff like: I like to hike, I like beer, I like long romantic walks at sunset. I don't think listing preferences shows me much of who a person is. I have met wonderful beer drinkers and not so wonderful ones. A list of my preferences in no particular order: rock climbing, singing, playing guitar, eating ethnic food, cooking, big bold juicy reds, traveling, meeting new people, learning, running and Olympic weight lifting.
I have always held the irrational belief that I am special and that I am destined to find a soulmate. I also hold the irrational belief in a greater force that intercedes in my destiny. I understand the nature of that force through my experience with Christianity. I share many Christian beliefs and practice Christianity. I also identify as Christian. However, I dislike reducing people to labels and believe that there is quite a bit more to me than whatever preconceptions may be associated with Christianity.
I am a fairly intense person. My life's purpose is to live a thoughtful and passionate life. I generally don't do things without thinking about it a lot.
