I go to SNAP kitchen and Whole Foods more often than i'm willing to admit. I used to cook breakfast and dinner almost every day. I've managed to figure out how to buy fresh organic dinner for 6-8 bucks. That's a very high value proposition for not cooking dinner every night. I do still enjoy cooking, mostly when there is some meat and vegetable action involved.
I like to not plan anything during most week nights and just go with the flow. I sometimes lift and/or run after work. I go hang out at my favorite bar down the street. I hack on my laptop for shits and giggles. I watch netflix, hulu, or pbs and decide yet again that I really don't like watching tv. Sundays are reserved for brunch, watching dudes tackle each other on the tube, and mostly lounging. When its warm I try to go out to the lake, springs, or a pool. I pretend to be a fish!
I'm a software engineer at a great place to work! Just know that hitting buttons in the right order is sometimes pretty challenging and can be very mentally stimulating. I have a computer engineering degree from the University of Maryland and I'm working on finishing up my masters in the same discipline at UT Austin.
I like to think i'm good with numbers or at least lucky with them thus far. I use mint, creditkarma, and futureadvisor on a regular basis. I try and stay on top of my financial game.
I know random facts about people in Congress but couldn't tell you much about Hollywood actors. I grew up in Washington DC so politics, national, and international events are just something I keep up with.
I haven't traveled much lately so I can't list a bunch of random countries I've been to. Fear not though. If the Spanish weren't such hard asses i'd be a European citizen. My extended family is from El Salvador. Most importantly, I've traveled all over the great Republic of Texas, listen to NPR, and watch Nat Geo ;-)
