My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, I'm Tyler, nice to meet you.

I'll start by saying that God comes first in my life. Becoming a Christian has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. Jesus Christ has let me know that I am loved and given me a peace that can only be described as holy. He has blessed me with a wonderful family, a beautiful home, a good job, and good health, all of which I cannot thank Him enough for. I am an honest-to-God Christian, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I'm a very family oriented person. I have a big family, including up to 50 aunts, uncles and cousins that all stay fairly close-knit. Even when I'm married and have my own children, I'd still like to stay close to my mother and the rest of my family. I'll probably be one of those women who has to make her daily, or at least weekly, call to her mother, just to see how things are going and talk about life.

I'm an animal lover. I've always had dreams about being a vet or a vet tech, but they have not been fulfilled thus far. They've taken a back burner for strictly financial/time reasons. In the mean time I take care of my cats, and it's just as nice! There's just something about animals, all animals, that I've always loved, and I hope it stays that way.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm trying to become who God wants me to be. I'm always trying to better myself and do what's truly the right thing. I'd like to say I'm doing a decent job of spreading His love, but there's always room for improvement.

I'm living with my mother and younger brother for financial and comfort reasons. Our house is fairly big, so it's quite comfortable, not to mention it's just nice to be around my family. We've lived together in the same house since I was a child, so it's hard to imagine calling anywhere else home!

I work as a production worker for a company that rents and cleans hospital laundry. It's not a glamorous job, but it pays very well and the benefits are wonderful, and I'm just happy to have a job!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'd like to say that I'm good at giving people advice and guidance, and I'm really good at showing people a different viewpoint. I've been told many times that I have the gift of seeing things from every angle. A friend of mine said to me once; 'Wow Ty, you show me things from viewpoints that I would never have imagined! It's incredible!' I also love showing people the bright side of every situation, even ones that don't seem to have a bright side.

I'm very good at making people laugh, even when they don't want to. If someone is having a bad day I do my best to try to make them laugh, or at least put a smile on their face. If I can't do either of those I comfort them.

I'm really good at swimming. Good enough to give the occasional swim lesson AND save a flip-flop floating in a lake!

Oh, I'm wonderful at sarcasm! A true master I would say!....You're wondering if I'm being sarcastic, aren't you?

I'm good at first aid for two reasons: 1) I have my Associates Degree in Medical Assisting Technology and 2) I have a very high tolerance for viewing/handling all sorts of bodily fluids. It actually makes me a staple at children-centered events, lol. Some one falls and gets a cut-"Where's Tyler?" Someone throws up on the trampoline- "TYLER, WE NEED YOU!" I consider it a blessing and a curse. :P

Most importantly, I'm good at being myself, no matter the time or place. And you know what? I'm pretty awesome, so it works out just fine!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People usually notice my sense of humor. It can range from timid to deranged and everything in between!

I get a lot of compliments on my eyebrows, which is strange, but still appreciated. I'm usually told I have nice eyes, and a few daring people have said that my lips are good looking. Kinda makes me think of Deliverance-"You got a purty mouth!" See, there's that sense of humor!

Most people also tend to notice how I interact with my family. I must stress that we are very close and very open, so sexual references and innuendo are not uncommon. But please be certain, no incestuous occurrences have been confirmed. Yeah, I just went there.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books- The Bible. If you only ever read one book in your entire life, let it be The Good Book, the only book you'll ever need. Other than that I like the Goosebumps Series, Ghosts of Fear Street series, Heart Shaped Box, and a lot of books I can't remember the titles of right now, but they are mostly all in the horror/sci-fi genre. I've also come to enjoy the 'Chicken Soup' series. My father brings me a lot of books that have collections of short stories in them, so to tell you the truth I've read many more stories than I have books.

Movies-Dumb and Dumber, Van Helsing, Don't Mess With The Zohan ,The Hills Have Eyes 1&2, The Book of Eli, Legion, Kung Pow, The Orphan, Godsend, The Resident Evil Series

Shows- Mostly cartoons and comedy specials. Some reality TV, but nothing about Jersey or Housewives.

Music- It's not really a specific person or style. If I hear something I like, I like it. It's that simple. I've gotten much more into Christian music in the past year and Mandisa, Chris Rice, and Third Day have become staples in my IPod. My favorite band of all time would have to be My Chemical Romance. Their music has always been amazing.

Food- Anything delicious really. Doesn't matter if it's Mexican, Chinese, Polish, or any other kind. If it tastes good and won't hurt me, I'll go for it. Lately I've been eating Hormel dinners and Uncle Ben's Ready Rice just because my lunch break is only 20 minutes, and the dinners only need about a minute to heat up. For some reason I've gotten into cooking and baking lately, and I've been told that my chicken noodle soup and chocolate chip cookies are wonderful, so I guess I'm getting pretty good!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1)God above all. I honestly don't think I would be alive today if I hadn't found Jesus. All power and glory to God, dude.
2)I couldn't live without my family. I'm very blessed to have a family that I'm so close to. We can share anything and everything and know that we'll always be there for each other.
3)My animals. I love my cats to no end, and animals can be some of the best companions you'll ever have. Put down the guns and pet a puppy!
4)Music. Everyone has a selection of songs that they can/have listened to while going through a rough patch, and those songs can help ease the pain and put a smile right on your face. People also associate certain songs to emotional connections they have with others, whether it be love, hate, admiration, jealousy, or a combination of all of those. Music is very powerful in its own right.
5)Social interaction. God wants His children to have fellowship, and He made people social by nature. Everyone wants to have at least one person that they can connect with and talk to. People need people. It's just a fact.
6)I guess you could list all of the essential for living here. You know, food, water, shelter, clothing, transportation, etc.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
God, obviously. I think about everything He's given me, everything I can be thankful for, how I can become a better person, how to better serve Him. He's just awesome!

Nobody has just a few things they think about. I'm no different. I think about a lot of things, all them time. Sometimes by the time I think of something new, I forgot what I was just thinking about! The human mind is outrageous!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I work until at least 12:30AM Monday through Friday, so I'd typically be at work. Boring answer, I know. :P
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I believe that a relationship should start with friendship, and then gradually move into spiritual, then mental, and finally physical attraction. It's easier for me to get to know someone and truly be myself without the prospect of what 'could be' fogging my mind, you know?

I want my next relationship to be with the man who becomes my husband, so if you're looking for a fling, or something for just 'right now', I'm not the person for that.

Even if I'm in a relationship, I don't wish to become 'physically involved' with that person until I'm married. Kissing and hugging is fine, but anything more than that is a tad too much. Call me old fashioned, but it's how it's supposed to be.

I want my marriage to last a lifetime. I want it to be 'til' death do us part.' It will take work, it will take patience,at times it will take long days and nights of tears and frustration, sometimes it will take everything I have as a person to make it work, but that's what I'm willing to give, because I believe that true love is worth it. Yeah, it's sappy, but it's the truth. If I'm willing to marry you, to become a single soul in the eyes of God, then I'm all in, man. Needless to say, divorce is not really an option in my eyes, which is why I want to get it right the first time.

You may think my standards are too high, or I'm too old fashioned, or whatever. That's fine; everyone has their own opinion.

You may not think I'm all that great, but Jesus believed I was worth dying for, and I think I'm pretty cool, so it's two against one; we win. :P

I Am Not The Great I Am, But By The Grace Of God I Am Who I Am. No amount of negativity or disagreeing with me is going to change that.

Please, message me with something a little more full-bodied than 'Hi there.', or 'What's up?' All I can think to say to that is 'Hi.' right back, and that doesn't really get us anywhere. Oh, and good grammar would be a pleasant change. Not much, just the occasional punctuation and capitalization in the right places. Thanks in advance!
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you are honestly interested in me as a person and possibly a relationship of any kind.

If you took the time to read this entire profile without passing out from exhaustion or becoming uninterested.

If you want to get to know me better.

If you have tips that could make my profile better.

If you have questions about God or The Bible.

Please do not message me to tell me I'm 'too religious', or I'm asking for men 'way out of my league', or I'm 'not worth the effort.' You wouldn't want me messaging you with pure negativity and rude things to say. If you'd like to discuss things from my profile, that's fine, but don't expect a response to being arrogant and unfriendly.
