I'm a Colorado transplant doing my best to cope with the loss of my majestic mountains.
I've been in NYC for eight years and, despite what I just said, love every minute of it. This city never ceases to amaze me. Around every corner there's something new to discover, something different to explore. It's one of the few places that I've lived where you can take a vacation just by hopping on the downtown train.
I love traveling to far off lands and try new and different things. I'm fascinated by other cultures. It's interesting not only to see what makes us different, but to also observe what we have in common.
I have eclectic and varied interests. I love to learn as I have an insatiable curiosity about the world around me. I enjoy reading. I like to eat healthy(ish) and try to cook for myself when I can.
I'm a pretty laid-back down-to-earth go-with-the-flow kind of a guy. That's not to say that I don't care, because I do, but I try my best to take things as they come and not worry about the little stuff.
What I’m doing with my life
I believe life is about building memories through shared experiences. I'm doing my best to save some money, have fun, and plan my next grand adventure.
To pay for this I develop software for a startup; and just in case if you're wondering I absolutely adore my job. I feel incredibly fortunate to be in a place where I can wake up and feel happy to go to work everyday.
I’m really good at
getting lost in Central Park, just missing the subway, not being
able to find my keys when I'm late, running in the rain.
The first things people usually notice about me
This is purely a guess because I'm not in the habit of passing
around questionnaires upon our first meeting (or ever), although if
I did their answer would probably be "that dude gave me a damn
survey", but people often comment on my kind soul, bright smile,
and quirky sense of humor.

The six things I could never do without
computer (for better or for worse)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
... running. I've completed a couple marathons and running has become a way of life. It forces me to face my fears, overcome self-doubt, find my limits, and set long-term plans to achieve my goals. It allows me to unplug the technology and get outside. This gives me time to meditate on life which helps put things into perspective. It has made me realize that there's nothing I cannot do if I want it bad enough. It's very therapeutic and has been my salvation.
On a typical Friday night I am
doing the same thing we do every night, Pinky - try to take over
the world! Actually, I'm probably running.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I use " :) " a lot, I say "lol", and I excessively abuse "!"; what can I say, I'm a happy easily excitable person who likes to laugh!!! It could be worse, lol :)
You should message me if
Well you've stuck with me this long, so what's a little bit more? I could say something like "If you want an adventure", "If you're not afraid to explore something new", or "If you'd like find someone who'll be interested in you for being you" but really these profile things can go only so far.
If you think I sound interesting and would like to say hello then you know where to find me.
