Let's be honest here. You and I both know you just looked at my
pictures and you are curious enough to keep reading. First of all
thank you for showing interest. And before you decide I'm not your
type, maybe you should reconsider that the last type of guy you
dated has brought you here to okcupid, late at night while you're
supposed to be sleeping. Swiping past different profiles and
deleting vulgar messages from all the wierdos. I know that to every
one beautiful woman there is more than a dozen guys trying their
luck at online dating with their best messages. I'll be honest, I
have a horrible ratio and it's a very small margin of ladies that
actually respond back to me. And I'm ok with that. Because you, yes
you reading this right now. You are curious enough to read my
profile and maybe get a chance to see that I'm a pretty ok guy, and
I would love to get to know you. My friends say I'm the "Ted Mosby"
of the group. I work a lot and wouldn't mind having a partner in
crime to spend my days off with. I love trying new foods, taking my
dog on hikes or farmer markets, and all the usual things people
list on these things. I'm the guy who never forgets to open a door
or pull a seat for a lady. And I don't see kindness as a weakness,
it's a matter of respect. So before you decide not to respond back
or leave a message, I know on paper you may not think we'd get a
long, but really you don't know til we start talking. I love to
cook for my dates. I have a YouTube channel and have been able to
garner a fan base through the wedding business and Disneyland. Look
me up, Katar Marcus. Or check out my vlog here
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a headline entertainer for a big special events company. I also
do sales assisting as well as do social media for the company. We
primarily do weddings, but we basically entertain many different
events through out Southern California. I'm the jack of trades of
my company. I emcee, Dj, and sometimes sing at my weddings and I
also officiate weddings as well. I love helping my clients with
some first dance basics. You'd be surprised how many couples have
never danced together before. I also dj at Disneyland. I love my
job, you make a lot of good friends and hear a lot of amazing
stories. Every weekend I get to see the guy get to marry the girl
of his dreams. So I do have a romanticized ideal of love and
optimism. Here's my recent Weekend Wedding Vlog,
If you're friends need any wedding
advice feel free to reach out to me.
Besides all the wedding work, I'm trying to develop a web series as
well as content for my company. Right now I'm organizing my first
toy drive, so I'm really excited about that.
I also host a weekly pop culture show on youtube where we talk
about movies, comic books, and geek culture
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I enjoy long walks with a jar of nutella in my hands... I'm totally
not kidding, I love to cook, I'm actually known for my crepes and
oatmeal chocolate chip pie. And I just invented a Thai Tea
Tiramisu. So yeah, I like to experiment and combine styles of
foods. I also play guitar and sing. Occasionally I'll do an open
mic to practice. I also play a little piano. I'm not going to lie,
I may have used the singing and guitar thing to get out of trouble,
but rarely do I put my foot in my mouth. ;) I'm an entertainer, so
I'm a song and dance man. I learned a lot of ballroom dance from my
theater years, so I enjoy taking a girl dancing too. I'm young at
heart and easily get along with kids and animals. Especially my
niece and nephews, getting to read to them dressed as spiderman has
been a highlight of last year. And according to my nephew, I'm the
best at making blanket forts.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - I tend to read more fictional books. I think every guy has
a personal love for catcher in the rye. Love in the time of cholera
is one my favorites as well as the works of Pablo Neruda and Ernest
Hemingway. I think everyone should read to kill a mockingbird as a
kid, probably one the best stories about heroism and tolerance. I
also enjoy comic books and graphic novels.
Movies- I'm a big fan of geeky movies from my childhood like Back
to the future, Star Wars, and I'm pretty sure I've seen every comic
book based movies, even unreleased movies like Roger Corman's
Fantastic four movie from the 90s. I'm definitely a Marvel movie
fan, so I'm always waiting for those end credits. Love Zombie
movies, Classic horror, 80s and 90s teen comedies, and I have soft
spot for John Cusack films, most notably Say Anything. Honestly I
have such a diverse taste in films from early silent films like the
Cabinet of dr. Caligari to classic Romantic comedies like When
Harry met sally. I'll admit I teared up during the notebook and
Up... I don't know how anyone could not shed a tear in those first
TV- A lot of shows I loved are long gone and streaming on netflix:
FRIENDS, How I met your mother, The office, Parks and Rec,
Spartacus. But my current favorite shows are kind of geeky: The
Flash, Arrow, and Gotham. I love Orange is the new Black, Daredevil
and The unbreakable Kimmie Shcmitt. I really enjoy BBC
documentaries and Sherlock. And of course I'm a walking dead
Music- I'm a DJ so I love all music, really much more of a fan of
older music. Only because many of those songs remind me of my late
father. So Motown, classic rock and the beatles have a very special
place in my heart. Love Michael Jackson. David Guetta and Avicci
are some of my current Faves. Really I love all music, just not a
huge Abba fan to be honest.
Food- I'm definitely a big foodie. Love trying new foods and
discovering new cultures. I tend to like spicier foods because
well, I'm Thai.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My family
3. My dog, Brutus
4. My phone
6. A good read
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
- whether I want to bring my dog with me when I'm running
- why the kardashians are so important when there are hungry
people, women with no rights, gays being persecuted, and just crazy
people shooting people for no reason.
- I feel like a people's definition of "geek" "dork" and "nerd" are
totally different from mine. But then again, everyone has something
different that makes them a geek.
- How cheat day is like having Christmas once a week.
- How so many of these girls on here are out of my league, and
remind me that personally sometimes...
- How my work consistently inspires optimism with every happy
couple I meet.
- why some people put inspirational quotes with their

cause even I am over this gag. Sorry for making you read this
nonsense, I actually never think anyone reads these. Watch this,
"FART". Yep I said the word fart. You either laughed or started
looking for someone less sarcastic.
- why do girls always take pictures with hands on their hips.
- bet this would taste better with bacon...
- why can't life's problems be solved in an elaborate musical
- My family, taking on my father's responsibilities.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'm usually winding down before a big weekend of events. So either
I'll go to a local coffee shop in town with Brutus and catch up on
work, or I'll try going to dinner with friends. Sometimes I just
want to make a nice meal for myself too. I mean you have to treat
your self. Especially cause the rest of the week I've been eating
healthier. With that said, the gym is where I spend a lot of my

I'm very Pro Marriage equality, I work in the wedding industry and
fully support the movement. So I have to date someone who is not
only caring but also tolerant. Many of my clients are people of all
sexuality, religion, and race. They are also my friends, so to be
honest, I'd prefer a woman who is a bit worldly and comfortable
with the people in my life.
