For me, a relationship primarily needs to be 2 things: 1) a space between two people of safety and support, allowing for honesty, vulnerability, acceptance, understanding, and non-judgement. 2) a source of passion and inspiration, encouraging and supporting creative, emotional, and spiritual growth within both individuals and within the union of the two. Everything else is optional.
As for me, I am quietly confident but not aggressive or boastful in anything I do. I am introverted, but if I like you and we are one on one you'd never guess it. I like my personal space and time alone for reflection, but being closely connected to others is essential for my happiness. When I meet a girl I like I may be a bit guarded at first and will not rush into a physical relationship, but it does not imply a lack of interest, just caution. If I am given the chance and time to trust a woman and feel connected so I can be vulnerable, then I will open up and my passion will be plain as day.
In addition to the serious stuff, I am super laid back and easy to get along with. I am also incredibly silly, fun-loving, kind, generous, geeky, and filled with big dreams and ideas. And there's nothing I love more than sharing those things with others.
