I am inquisitive, inventive, and just a tad ingenious.

My Self-Summary

Why hello!

I love lots of things. Maybe even you one day. But for now I'm limited to music, sports, reading; all the usual stuff I suppose. It's all in the details though :)

I was born in England, but am also 1/4 Italian. I'd love to live abroad in the future but am quite content to be here for the moment.

As for more about me, well I guess that's what the rest of my profile is for!

What I’m doing with my life

Working in a job which has uncomplicated hours plus I get to help people...perfect!

In my free time, I love immersing myself in some form of media, keeping fit, learning new things (right now it's acoustic guitar) and occasionally watching the odd US TV show.

I’m really good at

Being a gentleman, according to my friends, though I just believe in good manners.

I also love to be there for people when they need me. My motto is: If you're happy, I'm happy! I have also been known to help lost tourists find their way around London.

I love chocolate: it's my main vice, and as we all know it's very easy to consume in large quantities: From Hotel Chocolat. With hazelnuts. Must. Stop. Now.

The first things people usually notice about me

My height.

Apparently I have quite unusual eyes (your eyes say alot about you).

That I look younger than 26.

Some say I resemble Jack from Lost...

Also i am usually wearing at least one item of clothing that is red...it's my fave colour you see.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

In short, I'm pretty multifarious...

Books: Wild Swans, It's Not About The Bike, Memoirs Of A Geisha, anything by Iain Banks, John Simpson and above all the genius that is Bill Bryson.

Movies: Le Grand Bleu, Gladiator, Goodfellas, Léon, Solaris, The Matrix, House Of Flying Daggers, Sunshine, Airplane, American Beauty, Chungking Express, The Usual Suspects, Pulp Fiction, the Bourne trilogy, Aliens, Requiem For A Dream, Howl's Moving Castle, Crash, American Psycho, The Departed, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, Little Miss Sunshine, The Notebook, the Oceans trilogy, Spirited Away, Monsters Inc, Gran Torino, L'Appartement, Empire Records, Taxi To The Dark Side, Batman Begins/The Dark Knight, Seven, Back To The Future, Short Circuit. I think that's enough for now!

TV: Lost, 24, Scrubs, House, Top Gear, Have I Got News For You, Fringe.

Music: Múm, M83, Interpol, Mew, Hybrid, Boards Of Canada, Sigur Rós, The National, Imogen Heap, Stars, Port-Royal, Carpark North, The Stills, Air France, Beethoven, Aphex Twin, Tina Dico, Apparat.

I suppose breaking it all down I like electronic, indie, dream pop, breakbeat, acoustic and post rock. It certainly makes for an interesting shuffle!

Food: Dark chocolate!!! I do eat other, less interesting things, though.

People I admire: Lance Armstrong, Gary Hall Jr, Stephen Fry, Alice Martineau, Brian Eno to name but a few.

The six things I could never do without

- Dark chocolate.
- My iPod. I even have the artwork for all the music on it. It's very sad.
- A good book.
- My laptop, without which I wouldn't be able to write this, so I suppose I owe it some sense of gratitude.
- My family
- Lastly, and, rather anticlimactically, my insulin pens. They actually keep me alive so I have to include them!

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Loads really, from the state of the planet, to thinking about the next Lost episode, to making up songs in my head.

And reminding myself that I still haven't seen Avenue Q and REALLY should.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Apparently I make a great shopping buddy! Yes I will even carry all the bags, too.

You should message me if

You think we'd make good friends or maybe more.

You like what I like.

You have a passion for music that other people just don't understand.

Or if you just find me interesting!

Simple :)
