My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Update 09.17.13:

I have a primary partner, zzoink, and while I am still open to meeting new people, I am not looking for a long term primary relationship. That said, I always enjoy in meeting interesting new people whether or not that becomes a physical situation or friends or even just a one time meeting. Also I should add that I am pansexual rather than bisexual (damn you OKC for not including every possible orientation!).

[Now on to the regularly scheduled programming ;)]

I prefer doing over talking. Talking is good but doing is.
I try to have no expectations then I am never disappointed.
I love advertising: good advertising is good, but bad advertising can be great.

I still practice being queen of the world.

I _do _ judge a book by its cover. How else should I judge whether I want to read the book?
I tend not to be insulted. Insults only work if both parties agree.
I really like meeting new people.
Some things I’ll never tell.
I sometimes think maybe I _am_ too smart for my own good.
You never know until you ask. But then you know.
I remember my dreams and really like them.

I try to be WYSIWYG.
I was married for many years but am single now.
I am this, that and the other thing depending on my mood.

These are just some of the things I am.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Living? Trying not to be too much of a smart ass? What everyone else is doing? Abruptly changing course? Take your pick...

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Any books that have interesting and imaginative ideas. These can be genre books or literature or non fiction as long as the ideas are something that make me think. I love movies, but I most enjoy them watching with someone and (horror of horrors) talking and deconstructing them while watching (on DVD of course, not at the theater). If the movie is very good and I've never seen it or if it's so bad (and not fun bad, but just bad) I want to track down the people who made it and demand my time back, I will be silent, but I really enjoy talking while viewing. My favorite movie of all time (at this point in time) is "Wonderland" with Val Kilmer.

I like alot of different types of music. Mostly music I can dance to. I've been getting into tech/edm but don't know all the sub-genres so basically anything with a booty-shaking bottom.

And finally, all food is good! Well, let me clarify: actual food, nothing sold in a drivethru (not food), nothing in a box with ingredients from a lab, etc. Actual food that our great-grandparents would recognize as such. Prepared well. I don't cook very well, but really, really appreciate a person who feeds me.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I could write the same old things that everyone writes, or actually list some items but there's really only one thing I couldn't do without and that's being alive. I'd prefer to have my health also. So I guess that's two things. Everything else is attainable.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How I can change the American language to include 'til' and 'alot'.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Yes, on a typical Friday night I am. On a typical Saturday night I am. In fact most days I am.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've read every Andrew Lang Fairy Book (terrible moral lessons in fairy tales) and have seen every John Wayne movie (but don't remember most of them).

you want to? This seems like something that wouldn't need any specifications. That said, if you've read this far, I do have a primary relationship so I am not looking for that. I am always interested in meeting interesting people (which is so totally subjective).

If you have read this far, thank you and there are definitely plus points in your column :) (but only if you read all my ramblings)...

I want to write this explanation since I’m kinda dismayed at the red dot up there to the right with “replies very selectively”. When I first got on this site and saw some profiles with this I would think, how rude, don’t these people answer their messages? Well, I guess I’m one of the rude ones now. That’s why I wanted to explain it. I usually don’t respond to notifications that someone rated me highly. I’m flattered and thank you, but I usually don’t respond. I also usually don’t respond to someone saving me to favorites. Again, I’m flattered and thank you. I will however, reply to any message a person sends me. I just wanted to clarify this so I don’t come off as rude. Also, it might take me up to a week to reply, although I do try to make it sooner.
