My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Introvert. Gamer. Electronic music aficionado. Memphis Grizzlies fan. St. Louis Cardinals fan. Trivia junkie. Pro-choice. Adamant LGBT supporter. About as socially liberal as they come, if you couldn't tell already. Occasional DJ. Agnostic bordering on atheist. Very warped sense of humor. Slightly tattooed and wanting more ink. Huge fan of Cards Against Humanity.

Newly single but not quite ready to dive back in headfirst. It's more like easing my feet in and testing the waters. I want to make friends and have fun dates, with the possibility of something long-term. I think any successful long-term relationship starts out as friends and gradually progresses over time. The older I get, the more I know what I do and don't want in my future relationships. I don't really have a "type" per se, but I am fairly picky and find myself more attracted to quirky, unique people. People who don't fit all the stereotypical molds you see in the south. So tell me, what makes YOU unique? What sets YOU apart from everyone else? Impress me! :)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently working as a forklift operator for a snack foods company. Been employed at the same place over 10 years. Not the most exciting line of work, but I enjoy what I do and it pays the bills. I live at home with my disabled mother; I help with bills and other stuff around the house.

What else am I doing with my life? NOT PLAYING CARDS AGAINST HUMANITY NEARLY ENOUGH.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Picking great music for you to listen to.

Grammar/spelling.

Penmanship.

Self-deprecation, not to be confused with self-defecation. O_o

Trivia Crack.

Cards Against Humanity. Anyone can be good at it if they have the right sense of humor. ;)

Sticking my foot in my mouth, but hey, it's one of my more endearing qualities!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
BOOKS: I don't have much time to read, but I'm always open to suggestions. Older favorites are The Once and Future King, To Kill A Mockingbird, The Invisible Man, just about anything by Edgar Allan Poe. I think the last "book" I actually read was 100 Facts about Pandas, and it was fucking HILARIOUS!

MOVIES: My DVD collection is small but eclectic. Save for romantic comedies, I'll watch just about anything at least once... several times if I end up liking it. I'm a huge fan of well-done horror movies, especially the ones that fuck with your head well after the fact.

SHOWS: Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Dexter, American Horror Story, South Park, Bob's Burgers, Criminal Minds, The First 48, House, The Daily Show (I'm gonna miss Jon Stewart...), SportsCenter

MUSIC: At the risk of sounding like a hipster, most people around here haven't heard of a majority of the artists and music I like. I'll just start by saying I love house music in all its forms, trance, drum and bass, breaks, techno, tech dance, and small amounts of hardstyle and dubstep. But trap can go fuck itself with a cactus.

When I'm not listening to dance music, I prefer classic rock and 80s/new wave music. I also have some guilty pop pleasures... Kylie Minogue, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, 90s Eurodance... don't tell anyone!

GAMES: I like to relax and play a good video game when I'm not absolutely exhausted from work. Some of my favorites are RPGs in general (Final Fantasy series, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Earthbound, Secret of Mana, Fire Emblem series, Tactics Ogre series, et al.), the Borderlands series, The Last of Us, The God of War series, the Ratchet and Clank series, and so many others. Of course I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for old classics as well!

Oh, and you'd better be ready to gather some friends (and maybe some booze) and play Cards Against Humanity!

FOOD: Yes please. I'm pretty adventurous when trying new foods. About the only thing I will not eat is onions... onions and I have a hate-hate relationship. I absolutely love anything spicy, though my stomach doesn't always agree. I could eat barbecue, seafood, and chicken every single day of the week.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Music, my friends, love, internet, Cherry Coke, a clean pair of socks.

Honorable mention goes to Cards Against Humanity.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Who coined the term "technical death metal." I know nothing about it, but it sounds like the coolest fucking genre of music EVER.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either working (my schedule typically has me working every other weekend) or relaxing at the house. I'm not a "social butterfly" by any stretch. If you saw the people that live in my area, you'd understand. From time to time though, I do like to venture out and visit my friends. Grab some drinks, play music, those kinds of things. That being said, I'm always open to new experiences! Well, anything that doesn't involve extreme heights. LOL

On a typical Friday night, I'm definitely not playing Cards Against Humanity with anyone. Nope, nobody loves me. Insert sad violin tune here.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
...you'd like to make a new friend and want to introduce me to some new experiences.

...you wanna play some Borderlands co-op.

...you wanna get some friends together and play Cards Against Humanity. Have I mentioned that anywhere yet?

...your enemy percentage with me is 90% or greater. Therein lies the possibility that we may be sworn rivals, forced to duel to the death. With lightsabers.

ADDENDUM:

You should NOT message me if:

...you do not support LGBT rights/marriage equality/human rights. This is a non-negotiable stance for me.

...you do not have a dependable ride and job. These are also non-negotiable. I expect any relationships I have to be 50/50 and not one-sided either way. And I definitely will not be a chauffeur or sugar daddy for anybody... so there's that.

...you're too prudish to play Cards Against Humanity.

...you're "down with the clown 'til I'm dead in the ground." See also: aforementioned no car/no job caveat. It's a shame your parents didn't "whoop whoop" your ass more as a child.
