I am jolly, purple, and a dinosaur.
My Self-Summary
Someday, when talking about me, I want people to say the following:
"He's really kind, but a major fucking hardass."
But anyway, here are five things I can say in summary of
myself:
- I'm not the go-out-and-dance or bar hopping type. I'm more the
dinner-and-a-movie type. However, I will go out and do just about
anything so long as it's at least somewhat unusual.
- I'm in graduate school for screenwriting (that's the short name
for perpetual unemployment). I used to work in (digital?)
advertising/marketing and Internet video. I still do a little
because I like having a little money. I want to be a
writer/director. I also want to be a tech journalist, but I think
that'll be a retirement job or something.
- I'm a vegetarian, but not so much in a political way. I don't
condemn meat eaters unless they say to me, "I could be a
vegetarian...if I didn't love steak." If you're cool with what I
do, I'm cool with what you do (unless you're sodomizing
children...I don't like that).
- I find runners attractive. I also hate running. I also run almost
every day. It's confusing.
- Honesty and fairness are big things for me. Obviously it's
impossible to not lie once in awhile and life isn't fair (or
something like that), but, to me, this basically means I hate when
people lie about important things and ethics are left out of a
decision.
What I’m doing with my life
Grad school for screenwriting, as previously mentioned, plus
whoring myself out as a web marketing consultant for cash.
I’m really good at
- Making friends with people you'd never expect to have
friends.
- Being good but not great at a lot of random things.
- Ignoring my friend who is visiting me and probably thinks I'm
sleeping when I'm actually typing this.
The first things people usually notice about me
- That I look like someone they know.
- That I might be Asian (I won't give away the shocking
surprise).
- I have the best t-shirt collection ever.

On a typical Friday night I am
Usually a movie with friends, or sleeping, or working, depending on
the week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Historically, whenever a friend of mine has come to visit I've
either pissed or almost pissed the bed one night during his stay.
Weird.
You should message me if
You want to? If you don't, you probably shouldn't message me. I
mean, we're not going to have much to talk about. You'll lead with
"I don't want to message you" and I'll either respond with "why did
you message me?" or "okay." There can't take it much further from
that point.
