My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Music is a huge part of my life. I am always listening to something, even if its only in my head. I play guitar and write songs, mostly sad songs about things that float around in my head. I enjoy the outdoors as much as anyone can, but I don't spend as much time in them as I'd like. Camping is a favorite activity but I usually only have the chance to go a couple times each summer. I'm also kind of a secret sports fan, mostly football but I enjoy basketball around playoff time and some hockey too. I get along well with other passionate people who are willing to share the things they are passionate about.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am taking small steps to make my life bigger. I'm working on recording an album, and eventually I want to own a recording studio.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
reading most people. I can tell if someone isn't being genuine to who they really are. Also I'm pretty handy and can fix most things around the house.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

My Favorite artists: Bright Eyes, Counting Crows, Ryan Adams, Jason Isbell, Daughter, Death Cab for Cutie, Bon Iver, Sarah Jaffe, Lauren O'Connell, Dan Craig, Andrew Bird, Holly Williams, The Mountain Goats, lots of singer songwriters from the Denver area.

I love to get lost in a good book, though I don't read as much as I should. The Archivist (Martha Cooley) was exceptional, I enjoyed White Noise (Don DeLillo), and most spy/political thriller books will hold my attention.

I don't watch movies very often but I tend to like "mumblecore" movies... not a lot of dialog, long slow shots of scenery, but has a heavy story and leave me feeling like I invested something in the viewing experience.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My guitar, my friends, music, headphones, a guitar pick, a reason to wake up tomorrow
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Music, the future, buying another piece of gear, wondering if I have too much gear...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Enjoying a few beers with my close friends at home or the bar, seeing a concert.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a word association game playing in my head most of the time. Often when someone speaks, I will think of a lyric of a song and then say it out loud. Sometimes one lyric reminds me of another and I confuse anyone that is listening to me.
