My life got flipped, turned upside down,
And I'd like to take a minute, just sit right there,
I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Greer.
In central Pennsylvania I was born and raised
On the playground is where I spent most of my days.
Chillin' out, Hikin', Bikin all cool,
out in my kayak in a river or pool.
Graduated school and my grades were good,
I started makin' money in my neighborhood.
got a nice job offer and my mom got scared
And said, "You're movin' to South Carolina to a town called Greer!?"
I fired up the Subaru and put it in gear,
The license plate said "fresh" and it had dice on the mirror.
If anything I could say that this car was rare,
but what can I say? It made it to Greer.
I pulled up to the house when it was quite late.
I knew the moment I got there, this was my new estate.
Looked at my kingdom, I was finally there,
To sit on my throne as the Prince of Greer.
