in an interview, a friend of mine was asked what kind of tree he would be if he had to choose one, and he wasn't really sure what to make of that question. when he told me about it, however, i immediately knew that if i could choose, i would be a white birch.
i'm not sure exactly what that tells you about me.

as a child i convinced myself that i would soon go blind, so i soaked in everything i could visually, hoping that i wouldn't forget anything, and i began to walk around with my eyes closed practicing for my fate. turns out, i never went blind, but now i'm pretty observant.

i like to make things, whether that be with my sewing machine, my camera, an oven, or a paint brush. i like to help people and make them happy. i love trash-to-treasure projects.

i care about people. i'm goofy.

figuring out the best way to simultaneously save and savour the world, trying to become an expert baker, laughing

scratching backs, surprising people, listening, making you laugh at yourself, making a lot out of a little

people usually notice my hiccup squacks? they're kind of loud and have been likened to the noise that might come out of a baby dinosaur. they happen at random times every day, just one at a time.

i've been told i come off as unfriendly or something at first, though i never mean to be. i'm just an observer.

- nature/trying to be a low-impact human being.
- paper. for doodling, taking notes, developing prints, compensating for my terrible memory.
