My self-summary
I don't spend much time on this site anymore. If you like my profile, I recommend just sending me a message. I've been using eHarmony lately instead, because I think that the people there are more marriage-focused. It seems like everyone here is trying too hard to stand out from the crowd, which I don't like so much.
----
I like: very satisfying work, reading interesting books, playing classical guitar, training my dog, and living a healthy life.

I'm an INFJ, if you like the Myers-Briggs test. I really like feeling connected to myself and other people; the opposite would be being in a large, loud group. This is kinda why I left NY, where I grew up, and now life in SF :)

The biggest risk I ever took was accepting a job to teach English in Japan for two years. I didn't know any Japanese at the time (!). It turns out that there are some things about Japanese culture that I really like.
I’m really good at
Petting my dog. At least I think I am, because he keeps on asking me to pet him. Repeat customers are a sign of doing a good job!
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm bright and I have a lot of empathy. I like it when people talk to me about their hopes and dreams and what makes them tick.

I get really animated when I talk about things that interest me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I mostly listen to classical music, but I like all sorts of music. I take classical guitar lessons and practice regularly.

I like spy novels and non fiction. The nonfiction can be about anything from health to economics to psychology.

I don't have a TV and go to the movies a lot. I like lots of movies and wish I saw more documentaries.

Health issues run in the family, so these days I really only eat healthy low-fat food.
The six things I could never do without
Girls.
Music.
Intellectual stimulation.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Early retirement. Enlightenment. You.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I wish I was better at relationships!
You should message me if
If you'd like to meet for coffee, talk about our weeks, and get to know each other better.
