My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm Puerto Rican. I'm was born in Ithaca, NY but I'm from Cocoa, FL. I lived in Aguadilla, PR for about 8 months but I was a year old so I barely remember it. I've been told funny and humble suite me so I'll stick with that instead of boasting about my attributes. I go to school at the University of Florida in Gainesville working towards my TESOL certification now. I graduated UF in Spring '14 in Anthropology (I dabbled in ProTeach for about 2 years before switching out). I play futbol quite a bit so naturally I love to run. I ran cross country and track. I also used to powerlifted; that was an experience. I grew up by the beach and love to surf so being landlocked in Gainesville has been hard. I love music. Mostly metal, jazz, latin, and reggae. I still buy CDs and have a collection that is pushing around 2500. I've been drumming for almost 16 years now. I do occasional freelance work for a friend's website writing album reviews.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Finishing this TESOL certification.....then who knows? I've been looking at teaching English in Spain or SE Asia. There is a Forensic Anthropology Master's program in England that has caught my eye as well. I just finished my second internship with Spotify and I was involved with a local music start up called Liftoff. I'm going to take 6 months off though after December. I also spent 4 years running the movie theater in the Reitz Union on the second floor with RUB Film. Best 4 years ever.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
drumming, watching futbol (Spain National Team (since 2002), Real Madrid (since 2000), and Liverpool (since 2004), FIFA (yeah, that's different from futbol), remembering things from my past, surfing, massages, cooking (apparently), and sleeping. I love my sleep.

I'd type more but that takes the fun out of meeting me.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Long hair, the beard (if I have it), and how loud I am. Recently, I keep being told I look like Russell Brand.....or Jesus.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family, my friends, futbol, music, movies, and the beach
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out and about usually. Either here in Gainesville or driving back home to Cocoa or Orlando to go out with friends there. Either way, I usually go to bed really late and end up hating myself for it because the English Premiere games start around 7:45 AM the next morning. I still get up. Those are my usual fridays.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a quiet fascination with horror movies.

You want to have fun, think you can be louder than I am, have an open mind for music, can salsa (at any level), and have random crazy nights out on the town. Also, if you play racquetball and want to give me a challenge.
