I love language, reading, writing, exploring and creating things. There's always something more I want to be doing. I value intelligence, curiosity and a sense of adventure and awe -- the universe is an amazing place!

The best relationship is one where both people have unique things to bring to the table; making each other better, cooler and more interesting.

Took a year and a half recently to work on a project of my own, hoping I would be able to get to the point where I'd make enough money to work for myself full time. Sadly I ran out of money before it was completed, so now I'm back in full time work.

I miss working for myself, but I'm grateful I had the chance to try it out, and look forward to getting my savings built up so I can do it again.

Thinking, writing, reading, gaming, cooking, coding, musing. Procrastinating.

I don't talk much when with people I've just met, especially groups. It can take me a while to get a feel for how I fit in to a conversation, so I can appear very quiet at first. Once comfortable, though, I'm quite talkative.

I've found that I place far more importance on likes and dislikes in people's profiles, compared to how much they actually matter to me. I don't want people who just like the same things as me, so I'm not putting anything here at all. If you really want to know, just ask me.

That said, food is important. I love Mexican, Indian, Italian and a bunch of other food. I am a reasonably fussy eater, though lately I have been expanding the types of food I can enjoy.

Everything. In particular? I like to think about the future, humanity, and how things work, from tiny devices up to complex modern systems.

Most likely I'll be at home working on a project, cooking, watching or playing something. Week nights are much the same, but if you find me going out it will probably be sometime during the week. Somtimes I wish I did more spontaneous adventure type activities, but it doesn't end up happening.

while I love hiking and love the idea of travelling enough to want to, I never have travelled overseas, and do not go hiking regularly. At this point, the pattern is clear enough that I don't think I will make myself do these without outside motivation.
