I sometimes have a beard but I believe I shaved it off a few months back. I once tried to grow an ironic moustache, it made me look like a major creep. I once held a koala and was attacked by a monkey, unfortunately this did not happen simultaneously because that would make for a better story. Years ago my dad and I dressed as twin old ladies for Halloween and then that same night we ran into the actual ladies we were dressed as which was either just pure coincidence or that Jungian synchronicity thing.

I have a job I love that lets me do very cool things. It has taken me speeding on a bike rickshaw through the steets of Jaipur, on top of the Great Wall and to the best noodle shops in Chengdu all while meeting and interviewing fascinating people.

Work is not my whole life and when I have the time I will generally be riding mountain bikes or snowboarding, I do both a lot. I also like to find time to adventure around Seattle, Portland, the high Sierras and Whistler as well as travel farther out of the country when I can.

I can open a beer bottle with almost any object.
I can make my own sausage and now how to cure a prosciutto (learned from master Armandino Batali).
I love to cook and have been told I am pretty good at it, came this close (pinching fingers together) to going to cooking school.

Movies: I went to film school so my tastes are all over the place
Shows: Louie, Walking Dead, Eastbound and Down, Weeds, Dexter, Breaking Bad, is Dr. Phil still on?
Food: I have eaten everything ever offered to me. Love to cook but have not been doing much lately. Been doing an experiment with eating vegetarian for a few months but I still think animals look delicious.
