i'm fabulous. seriously? seriously.

i am loving, smart, caring, ridiculously fun, considerate, compassionate, a hard worker, honest, witty, and a great conversationalist. however, i do tend to be a little dramatic and demanding as all girls tend to be i suppose - and in my defense it's usually warranted.

i love, love, love to laugh. like laughing-my-butt-off, rolling-on-the-floor-laughing (and even crying a little). like i-just-read-the-david-sedaris-chapter-about-the-big-poop-dilemma-and-i'm-hysterical kind of laughing. like i-just-watched-borat-and-i'm-hyperventilating-because-it-was-that-funny that's how hard i'm laughing. the best laugh-out-loud moments are when i do something so ridiculous or so dumb, that what else is there to do but laugh? appreciating the faults in your character and your blonde moments are humbling and keeps one grounded. in general, i think it just makes life a little brighter when you have a good, hard laugh.

i graduated from notre dame in 2005 and worked as a social worker in a mental health hospital for children for 2 years. i went back to school to get my master's in social work at columbia and just graduated in may. i currently work with adolescents involved in the juvenile justice system and their families doing family counseling in the south bronx. i also nanny part-time because social work is not the best paid profession :)

when it's right, i fall hard and i fall fast.

if you think you can be my not "perfect match." because my "perfect match" does not exist. no one is "perfect" because as humans, we are all flawed. i don't believe that there is such a thing as a fairy tale ending or a concept such as soulmates. life is real and raw and takes commitment, compromises, and hard work. what i do believe, is that there are people out there who you can have fun with, who you can be undeniably passionate for, who "get" you, who are willing to compromise to make life fun and full of laughter, and who are willing to follow through on the important things.

to me that person would be full of character, funny, smart, caring, compassionate, driven, will put up with (if not love) my obsession with notre dame football, and be adorable to me. someone i can live without (because really, we should all be able to survive alone and be self-sufficient), but who i don't want to live without; who brings out the best in me and makes me want to be a better person. someone who can drive me insane but at the same time still be my very best friend in the whole, wide world.
