My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I periodically have a beard. I graduated from college in New York City and decided to say "Fuck the east coast.“ I'm a bit surprised that, for all intents and purposes, I am an adult now...This is basically me right now:
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm working at my first full time job, and so far it's going pretty excellently. I actually like my job. It's like the perfect blend of being challenging yet not overly stressful. I get to design things then see them built within a couple of weeks. It's really cool to see stuff go from an idea to reality.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Playing darts. I make damn good pizza, steak, wings, spaghetti and meatballs, and can grill just about any meat. Throw some veggies at me and I might be a bit clueless but could probably figure something out.

Decently good at playing ultimate frisbee.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
If I have a beard, the fact that I look like a mountain man. If not that then probably my blue eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: The Lord of the Rings, The Song of Ice and Fire Series, The Diamond Age, SnowCrash, Basically anything by Neal Stephenson, American Gods, The Count of Monte Cristo, Dracula, Supergods, Harry Potter (up to like number four was excellent after that they went down hill), basically anything by Tom Robbins, Dave Eggers, and Chuck Palahniuk.

Movies: Batman Begins, The Princess Bride, A History of Violence, Eastern Promises, Step Brothers, Role Models, Gladiator, Hannah, LOTR, Get him to the Greek, Arthur, Shaun of the Dead, the fifth element and of course rocky horror picture show. I'm a really big movie fan and can watch just about anything.

TV Shows: Dexter, Good Eats, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Spartacus, The Walking Dead, Terriers, Misfits, Bar Rescue, and Batman the Animated Series may be the best television show ever created.

Music: Just about anything except country.

Food: One of the main reasons I went to school in new york was for the pizza...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I never really liked this question so I'm going to go with my six favorite quotes:

The good life is inspired by love and guided by knowledge.
-Bertrand Russell

Never let the future disturb you. You will meet it, if you have to, with the same weapons of reason which today arm you against the present.
-Marcus Aurelius

And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years.
-Abraham Lincoln

The dangerous man is the one who has only one idea, because then he'll fight and die for it.
-Francis Crick

“There are only two mantras, yum and yuck, mine is yum.”
-Bernard Mickey Wrangle

"The difference between love and logic is that in the eyes of a lover, a toad can be a prince, whereas in the analysis of a logistician the lover would have to prove that the toad was a prince, an enterprise destined to dull the shine of many a passion."
-Tom Robbins, Jitterbug Perfume
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why I do the things I do... Should I be doing those things? Is it better for me to be doing other things?

What's the next thing I need to fix on my house? What cool thing should I build next?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Heading to a happy hour after work and then probably going to Cap Hill to meet up with some friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I pretty regularly read Jezebel. It got added to the RSS reader I set up a while ago and I got addicted.
