I'm looking forward to building something new... feeling that sense
of excitement and contentment...the alchemy of attraction,
intellectual stimulation and friendship.
...A little bit about me...I have varied interests & I love anything which is creatively inspired - film, art (high/low), books, photography, etc....Love to read, frequent art museums, see movies opening weekend, try new restaurants, watch HBO Sunday nights. I was born with the travel gene...so get the passport ready. I'm more intrigued with places & things that fly under the radar before going mainstream but still into the pop culture zeitgeist. I'm intellectually curious without an elitist attitude.
I'm sensitive but, more importantly, I extend sensitivity to others...ah, but I do have backbone! I'm a great listener, a caring friend & pretty intuitive - not afraid of vulnerability.
Silly & smart...my silly side can find the funny in anything...I love intelligent humor - e.g., Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Bill Maher...but no humor snob here...I like the stupid(smart) stuff, too. I'm a liberal & I embrace the label proudly. I don't understand narrow-minded people.
I run several times a week to keep fit & for that great endorphin high. I've got a youthful demeanor & appearance...definitely young at heart & in spirit - there is something to the whole mind/body connection thing.
I give a lot of myself and have a nurturing nature. Empathy is my favorite word. I can be introspective at times and am self-aware. I love intimate, meaningful conversation but enjoy being out in social situations, too. We are often surprised by those with whom we click so I avoid the 'type' thing.
I'm independent, but I'm happiest when sharing life with someone when it feels right. It's about enjoying mutual interests & celebrating the differences...& complementing one another's multi-faceted personalities. I love to be with someone who raises the level of my game and I his.
Admittedly, it takes some time to truly know & understand someone, but ultimately, I want to feel THAT connection - where we Both Just Know.
