Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm funny (most of the time).
I'm nice (almost all of the time).
I'm usually smart (maybe not so usually) and occasionally not so
much (maybe usually).
I'm interested in what you have to say and can't wait to talk about
it (ok I can wait but I don't want to!).
And I love parentheses! (and exclamation points!)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I make coffee. The kind that comes in the little white
Fuhgeddaboutit!!! (that's actually our most popular flavor).
I also wander around looking at things. I like to think I'm getting
inspiration by osmosis. Or maybe it's just a good excuse to wander
around. I'm a wandering jew. Let's wander! (will wanders never
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am generally really funny. My mother thinks I'm funny and my
father thinks I'm just funny looking but either way I'll make you
laugh. I'm also good at making people feel comfortable and at ease.
Hmm what else...I'm really good at trying...I try hard! (at times
it can be a bit trying). Oh and computers! I'm great with
computers. Especially the ones with those square plastic typey
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I remind everyone of someone they know. Complete strangers have
exclaimed "oh my god"! and hugged me on the street. It has happened
more than once (twice to be exact). Kids often think I am their
daddy (usually cute but sometimes creepy when I am distracted and
ask "who's your daddy?").

I have authors. Asimov,Richard Russo, Patrick Mcmanus, Pat Conroy,
Larry Mcmurty, John Irving. And Christopher Moore is the funniest
being known to man.
Movies: I like movies. Anything that tells a good story without
being patronizing. Nobody's Fool with Paul Newman is the one I
watch once a year. I like the idea that there is no expiration date
on redemption. I like Woody Allen. Even the black and white stuff.
His neuroticism speaks to me (but not about me). I like.
TV: TV more than movies. Modern Family, Shameless, Game of
Thrones!!! (Ugh cliches abound...too bad! I like what I like)
Weeds, lots more. I don't really watch them all. Typically I'll
wait for a slow rainy day and make a marathon out of a TV
Food: You pick the place and I'll find something good on the menu.
In the summer I'll pull out the smoker for some slow cooked
barbecue. MMM barbecue...(Vegetarian barbecue (oxymoron?) can be
almost as yummy too...almost?)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Things I could do without but really really like.
Kindle, Dylan (either one will do), Steak, Olives, Scotch, Couch,
...Preferrably all at once.
Friends/Family/Air/Water yawwwn....these are given so why mention
them. (I think I'll just slip them in the back door anyway)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I took this MBTI test. Apparently my personality type came back
All my friends tell me how funny I am but nobody ever laughs during
my stand up routines. I definitely need better material but do I
also need new friends?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Owning a small business is tough! On friday I'm sprawled out on the
couch recovering from making payroll. Any week I can make payroll
is a good week. Occasionally I go out to celebrate another week of
solvency (occasionally I drink lots of solvents)!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I regret not asking her out. I think she does too. I won't make the
same mistake again.

Let's skip the back and forth and have a drink. I've never been
accused of being boring.
