I have two eyes, a nose and a mouth which gives me a great advantage in eating contests. I get really excited about learning new things - like, did you know that once, a 13 year old Indian boy peed winged beetles?... I find that really exciting.

I get fired up about performing or talking to a crowd, but I'm shy sometimes in small groups and am terrible at small talk ("Did you hear what that woman just said?! That was terribly inappropriate, let's not be friends with her.")

I like challenges - not like a ropes course or anything... more like "I wonder why I sometimes act like my mother and how can I change that so that I'm not constantly in danger of being punched in the neck?"

I always wanted to be a comedy actor... well, actually at age three, I wanted to be a camel...

I've always been someone who has two or three really good friends and have historically been pretty closed off about meeting new people. I'm trying to change that and am currently accepting applications.

I am a clinical social worker and I also own my own consulting business.

What I Read: Geek Love, anything by Roald Dahl or Neil Gaiman, any of The Onion books, the Guinness Book of World Records, most stuff by Thich Nhat Hahn, and books about freaks, killers or other stuff that makes me anxious like people drowning in underwater caves.

What I Watch: The Daily Show, The Simpsons, Chappelle's Show, The Ali G Show, The Commish, Mr. Bean, Invader Zim, Police Squad, The Electric Company, Pee Wee's Playhouse, The Muppet Show, Mystery Science Theater 3000, Mad Men, Flight of the Conchords, Skins, Wild Wild West, Star Trek, The Office, just about anything on The Food Network or Court TV, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Labyrinth, Desperado, Young Frankenstein, Nacho Libre, Strangers in Good Company, Jaws, Man on Wire, 9 to 5, all of the Airplane movies, Reservoir Dogs, almost any Miyazaki film, The Professional, The Princess Bride, all of the Alien movies, Borat, Spinal Tap, The Outsiders, Barbarella, Face Off, The Muppet Movie, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Superbad, and Napoleon Dynamite.

Reading, listening to music, playing XBox, hanging out with friends, watching movies, writing my blog, playing with my daughter, watching tv about criminals and dead people, talking about poop and sex, telling the same funny stories over and over... it's ok though, because they really are funny.
